We stayed here over a weekend to attend a wedding, the surrounding area was quiet being more corporate but we were a short walk from the tube station. The hotel is gorgeous inside and out, the staff were eager to please, and managed to get us an early check in. The rooms are lovely even though they are on the smallish side and ours didn't have a view, there was ample cupboard space and the bathroom was beautiful and cleverly laid out. Everything from toiletries to mini bar just showed that extra touch of finesse. Breakfasts and the range of teas were spectacular. Loved it.

We wanted to stay in a 5* hotel within a specific area and after reading reviews on various hotels we settled for Threadneedles and very glad we did. Beautiful architecture with a fabulous stained glasses dome in the reception, which had originally been the old banking hall. We were upgraded to a delux room (318) which was a lovely touch, the room was spacious and no detail had been overlooked, products from the white company, warm & cosy but most important of all, the bed was extremely comfortable with a thick topper on the mattress to sink into, a perfect nights sleep. (Although we did'nt eat at the hotel this time as we had booked breakfast on the 40th floor of the Duck & Waffle, with a fabulous view of London.) we did have coffee on arrival which was delicious and quality. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay here again when next in London and hopefully a longer stay and time to snuggle in that lovely bed and enjoy their breakfast. P.S One ManTwo Guvnors at The Royal Theatre Haymarket - Hilarious!! and only a short taxi ride (less than £15) from Threadneedles. Perfect weekend.

Looking for a nice hotel for my partner and I to stay at in London over our anniversary weekend! I was looking for something very special but not with a massive pricetag in London. Very difficult. However, was looking on trip advisor and found this hotel. I'm so glad I decided to book via the hotel, as it worked out the cheapest route. On arrival and swift check in via a wonderful receptionist, you knew this would be a five star experience! The impressive dome (as it used ot be a bank) and pillars around the lobby looked incredible! We were given our room card, and to our amazement we were booked into the Penthouse, from compliments of management. Private lift whisked us up to the top floor, walked into the room and wow! Lovely seating area, huge bathroom with fantastic toiletries, fluffy white robes and slippers. Huge bed, with great tech system. Plenty of plug points in front of mirrors, with a great steam iron too. But the highlight of this room was the balcony that stretched from one end of our penthouse to the other, with lovely table and chairs outside! We had two glasses of complimentary champagne delivered to us while we were getting ready for our night out. blown away by the service. Again at such a reasonable price. I would of paid double for this experience! In the morning we had a lovely lie in followed by an incredible full breakfast, juice and coffee! Well worth getting up for! Can't wait to stay again, most likely will book this year for our anniversary again! simply stunning! Thank you Threadneedles.

Loved this place so much that I am making it my new base for visits to London. Everything about it is quality.. service, food, staff, ambiance. On the doorstep of the city, and yet so tranquil under the incredible dome in the main lobby.
