“A great venue worth going!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 13, 2012

Me and my friend went there to see La Soirre , a burlesque show. The show was magical and we had the time of our lives! As for the venue itself, it has great acoustics and view no matter how much you've paid for your ticket. We had bought the cheapest tickets and we were standing throughout the show but we could see everything and could have a beer at the same time. I suggest you pay a visit the very moment you find sth worth watching!

“Brilliant acoustics, Great view”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2012

Finally made it to the Roundhouse after wanting to get here for so long! Our inaugural visit was brilliant... Standing tickets for Paul Weller.

There's a great atmosphere, and as this was a sell out concert, it was good to see that there was still room to move around. Of course, towards the front of the stage ins got a little crowded, but there was some room to dance around near the back :-)

As others have already stated, there's not a "bad seat" in the house. There's no great distance from any watching point, be it from the floor or from the balcony circle.

Didn't go to the bar, we took our own water into the concert, although we were asked to remove the tops of the bottles - there are some very strange rules around for concerts these days !! So cannot comment on the quality or price of drinks at the venue.

There are plenty of bars and restaurants to go drinking and eating in before going to any concert at the roundhouse...

Liked it here- lots ! And we'll be back again ;-)

“A must for a visit to London”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 17, 2011

Unless you are stodgy, dead, or downright lazy, this is a MUST London venue to check out.
It is in Camden and is a rejuvenated old railway shed renovated 5 years ago. It was the centre for London 1960's counter culture and was played by the Doors, the Mothers of Invention and Pink Floyd were the houseband at a club called Middle Earth. It is said if you remeber any of those you were not there! It now hosts top named music, has the I Tunes festival and is always pushing the frontiers of musical, circus, cabaret, and other performance
genres, including poetry. It often produces its own events in conjunction with Roundhouse Studios a charity to empower younger people through performance, sterling work!
as well as the Main Space, it has smaller venues with experimental and cutting edge shows. There is an annual Circus Festival there, and a Christmas residency of cabaret called La Soiree. Listings are in Time out or visit there website. www.roundhouse.org.uk/
The more well known music and theatre from the likes of Paul Simon and the Royal Shakespeare company sell out virtually immediately but the smaller more avant garde shows have seats or standing room on the night. Check it out.

“A Grand night out!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2011

I have never been here before, and I was impressed with the Roundhouse and its cleanliness. The only negative comment I have to make is the seat I bought was in Circle 2 and I ended up in front of one of the many metal poles in the auditorium and this pole spoilt my view of the band. Next time I go I must remember to obtain a seat in a better area.
