This was a gift for myself and my cousin, great experience to share with a friend or family member. The class was actually in the house, which was not what i was expecting, but actually made more a lovely relaxing atmosphere. There was just myself and my cousin on the course that day, we did choose the hottest day in the year to do it, I think if there were 4 people, and 4 stoves it definitely would have been too much!!
I really liked the wealth of knowledge Fran shared, from the best supermarkets, to which ingredients were better than others, and what to look for when shopping. All the dishes we made were amazing, and once they have been explained then you feel so confident to go home and replicate them. I am a keen cook, but not a lover of spice, so I have never made thai food, or even a curry, don't think I have ever chopped a chili!! I am no longer afraid as I now understand the balance of flavors that is so important in Thai cookery, and how to tailor it to individual tastes.
Remember to take some plastic pots or food bags with you, as you can take the food home with you, definitely too much to eat there!
Best recipe of the day was spring rolls, so easy to make and taste 100% better than the ones you buy, well every thing we made did.
Thank you Fran x
