“Brilliant.......best food i have ever eaten”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 13, 2013

Wow, what a menu. We had the 10 course menu and every dish as fantastic. Each course is presented so beautifully it looks like a work of art. Very refreshing to see no fois gras, no steak etc as i feel that these are fairly easy dishes to do. There were 4 of us and each of us loved every dish. The best dish was actually the cheese course. It looked like a desert course but was so delicious. The dishes don't fill you up and neither are you left hungry. The creativity is amazing. Having visited fat duck i would say forget Heston, with his gimmicky and unappetising food. This is the business, modern, fresh, delicious and so moorish. If i could afford it i would visit every week. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual. The bread was home made and superb. A few extra dishes were thrown in which was wonderful. The wine prices are very reasonable. Plenty of good wine at 40 to 50 pound mark, which for a restaurant of this calibre is very good. The waiters are casually dressed but i loved this as the service is very attentive but not over bearing or intimidating. Its all about the food. They are in their current location until june and then looking to find some where else. If you love good food then go. Best place in London and £80 for 10 courses is a bargain

“Excellent gastronomic experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 10, 2013

Truffle, beets, coal oil, rhubarb... all dishes bring many innovative tasteful surprises. All 10 dishes bring products in an ingenious combination of flavours and in a superb presentation for both the vegetarian and non-vegetarian menus. This is really a divine food adventure.
The staff is very nice and helpful from the menu explanations or dishes combinations to complete description of small details of all dishes. The waiters are attentive without being pedantic. A real pleasure!
The only negative point would be the atmosphere that would benefit from a quieter environment as the noise floor tends to be quite high as soon as there is a table of 6 people next to yours! The restaurant is quite small and the decor doesn't help to keep noise level down!
I highly recommend the full experience and 10 dishes menu!

“Food, glorious food!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 9, 2013

A wonderful treat for the taste buds! The ten course taster menu was full of sublime flavours and textures. A cool leek custard in a warm dill broth - wow! Beetroot, hazelnut and parsley - superb! Rhubarb and sorrel - who knew?! And as for the coal oil - magical!

The experience was enhanced by warm, knowledgeable and attentive staff and the plain white surroundings simply served to focus our attentions on the food.

(Today's meal was a smashing Christmas present from my wife - I'll have to go some to match it!)

“Stunning. Amazing meal. Wonderful wine. Spectacular staff. There are no words. Just fabulous.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 9, 2013

The most charming and knowledgable staff serve the most beautiful food. Not just stunning to look at the tastes are fun and intriguing. The wines are divine. The whole experience is just that. It's not just a meal it's an adventure. Go now whilst its a pop up. In a year it will be twice as much. Get a table if you can.

“Gastronomic tour de force!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 7, 2013

Yes, the restaurant space is small and narrow and you have to share the toilets with the kitchen staff... but so what? It's irrelevant when the food is an innovative and well-executed as this. We had the 10-course tasting menu of which at least 5 dishes have the wow-factor. The rest were merely fantastic.

The service is superb too - informal but assured, friendly and informative. Impossible to fault.

Finally, the wine list... anything from £20 to £100+ a bottle and some cracking bio-dynamic wines by the glass too. Why can't other top restaurants do the same?

Here's hoping that Roganic becomes a permanent fixture in the capital.
