“Overpriced but open late”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2012

Very average steak about double what it should cost. They added on a one pound charge which the manager explained was to pay the rates for the restaurant. I would've thought the prices they charge should've covered their bills ok. I was open after 11pm however when most places were shut

Thanks for your feedback. We are indeed open late to cater for our diners who visit after seeing a show or concert, or simply prefer to eat later in the evening.
The £1 service charge is quite common for restaurants in the Central London area. We charge this in order to ensure our tables are kept free for genuine diners, rather than those wanting to have a snack and a glass of wine. Our menu items are all adjusted to compensate for the £1 charge, and the total reflects the quality of the meat we can offer. Kind regards.

“Noisy, poor staff and totally overpriced!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 30, 2012

Wandered along from Piccadilly looking for a place to eat, both fancying a steak we decided to give the place a try. It looked busy and we mistakenly thought this was a good sign!

Every table seemed to be taken and everyone was packed in like sardines, but we were ushered upstairs which was equally packed and shown to a table sandwiched between two other tables where we sat and waited and waited. More than 20 minutes later we eventually managed to get a drink ordered; whilst the waitress was delivering the drinks we hastily gave her our order before she disappeared again. Steaks are £17-£22.50 ALL sides are extra, my friend worked out that if her partner ate here his meal would have totalled around £35!!

We had an excessively long wait in a very busy, noisy atmosphere. The music was booming and everyone had to shout at each other to have any hope of being heard. By the time our food arrived it was well after 10pm and we had gone past wanting it.

My request for a ‘medium/well steak with no blood’ arrived, after eating a few mouthfuls I could see that the rest of the steak was running in blood and I could not eat it. The wait for the food had been so long that I chose not to request further cooking. My friend had chicken Carolina which she did not enjoy and left most of it. I had ordered the Angus rib eye 8oz as it was the smallest rib eye on offer, and was certainly not worth the money, add side salad and onion rings and it came to £26. My local ASDA do fantastic rib eye steaks for about £4 and are to die for.

Our bill for the 2 meals and 2 drinks came to nearly £70, to say we left disappointed and ripped off would be an understatement. Noisy, poor staff and totally over priced!

“prefect way to finish our trip”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 17, 2012

we had a great time at this restaurant. we were on our way to the airport and needed something that would keep us going till we got home. The staff were very nice from the outset and minded our bags while we ate. We had the american platter to start and it was good but not great. the potato skins were warm but not HOT and i like my food steamy hot! the wings were standard and the ribs were lovely. i had the chicken skewer and my husband had the gammon steak. i did think it was a bit rich to have to order chips with a main meal seperatly and that you are charged a cover and then still expected to give a tip!

“extremely expensive !”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 11, 2012

It's a nonsense, €75.96 for two beefburgers, two chips, 1 extra-small salad, one pint of beer, one bottle of water. Keep in mind
