“Very good relation price-benefits”

Great experience. The rooms were recently renewed, and are very confortable, despite his size (not much large). The heating was ok (it was snowing in London when I was hosted there). The breakfast, free if you make your reservation in the hotel homepage, is very good. Staff is very friendly and helpful if needed. There two underground stations the street beside the hotel (Queensway and Bayswater), so you can move easily. Internet wifi available at lobby (always working), but most the times you could also have it in the rooms.

Having stayed before this was my first choice when coming back to London! The building is lovely and close to the underground. Really it's a beautiful building! The rooms are a little on the small side but they are nevertheless lovely. Clean, modern and all you need. I cannot recommend this place enough, do stay even if you just want to feel a little bit posh!

We have just returned from a fabulous stay at the Grand Royale Hotel-Hyde Park .The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, having been built by a King for his mistress. It still retains alot of original features and wall hangings.The bedrooms are spotlessly clean ,with comtemporary furniture and fittings.On arrival and at each encounter with any member of staff, we found them all to be professional,cheerful and very helpful. Each morning we enjoyed a delicious breakfast ,that can only be described as 'fit for a King'.With a range of beautifully presented freshly cooked hot foods to tantalising fruit salads,cheeses, yoghurts to pastries,crossiants and rolls.The hotel is just around the corner from Queensway tube station, which is on the central line and makes it a very convenient spot to explore from.......we'll definitely be back.

A hotel I use regularly for business and pleasure. Well situated for Bayswater places to eat, and a very classy entrance and breakfast area, shame they dont do evening meals. Rooms are on the small side, but are very comfortable and quiet.

Beautiful hotel, accommodating staff, free wifi, free printing of docs at the lobby.

Location: Very convenient. Can easily access restaurants, cellphone stores, convenience stores, etc. It is very near Bayswater Station and Queensway Station. There's a mall along the street.

Breakfast: Included in the package. Great selection of food.

Room/Toilet: Room is small but acceptable. Bedding not very clean..had stray hairs. Can request for cleaner bedding. Water flows on the floor when bathing.

Over all, my family and I enjoyed our stay. We highly recommend Grand Royale London.

Room Tip: Request for a room that has a window.

Being one of the heritage property, highly listed building and modern design done in our rooms, we do tend to struggle with our room size although we do have larger rooms available.

We pride ourselves of maintaining high standards within our housekeeping department and please accept our apology for bedding not been cleaned. We will surely share your comments within the team so proactive measures can be taken in order to avoid its re-occurrence.

2nd visit to this Hotel good location to 2 rube stations and central for all needs. Excellent breakfast included in the price which is rare these days. Good clean room and fabulous history to the Hotel including the architecture.

Ok, how do you review a hotel that you really like... and that is very clumsy at the same time. We loved the building and the location. Value for money there. Breakfast is really good, compared to many other hotels. The room we had was of very decent size for a hotel in this location. But there are some but's'
First of all, when we arrived, having booked through the hotel's own site, the charge was about 80 pounds higher for three nights than the booking confirmation of the hotel stated. This was solved very quickly, but if we had not noticed we would have paid a lot more than was agreed.
Second, the curtains of our room were taped to the window. This had to be: without the tape the room would have turned into public space. Of course the side effect was that we could not look out for three days...
Third, we wanted to have a Japanese dinner and decided to go to one of the restaurants advised by the hotel in the list they provided in the room. After a rather long walk, we discovered that two of the three advised restaurants had gone out of business. We did not try the third restaurant, but decided to go back to the hotel to ask the reception about other options... and, after a lot of Google, they came up with the same closed restaurants. Nobody at the reception desk had any real local knowledge...
And then there were some small things, like the bathroom sink leaking on the floor or the heating in our room coming from the airconditioning...
In the end, we will return to this hotel on our next visit to London. We liked the place, the staff was very friendly and really trying to be helpful... and, judging on previous experiences, for London, and this location, the price is really reasonable.
