“A relaxing Afternoon Tea”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 4, 2013

The very beautiful art deco Palm Court provides the home for this excellent afternoon tea. Mumm champagne to start with followed by the usual finger sandwiches, scones and sweets with tea, of course. The quality of the food is very good, but not the best we had... still, the coziness and beauty of the place, the harpist - who plays Billy Joel's "New York state of mind" on harp, what a great thing -, the politeness of the waiters makes the occasion unforgettable.

“Enjoyable but not the most spectacular setting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2013

We had tea at the Palm Court on our arrival day in London. We chose it because of its proximity to our hotel and also because we'd stayed at the Park Lane many years ago.
The food and service were excellent. The harpist was a nice touch. The setting however, was not so pretty as I'd expected based on the photos. It actually seemed a little dreary on an overcast day. I'd probably try another spot next time, just for decor.

“Expensive”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2013

Expensive for what you get. By bill was 23 pounds. I gave the guy 40 and he was going to keep the change. Really?! I had to chase him down to get my change!

“Stunning location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 23, 2013

Loved the atmosphere and the decor. The harpist in the afternoon is an excellent touch. High society in Victorian Britain comes to mind. Also free wifi.
