“Don't go late in the day”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2014

We made the mistake of going later in the day and it was not a great experience customer service wise. It seemed everyone wanted to go home and the interactive experiences were closed up. Tons and tons of planes to look at. Poor food, so definately don't plan on eating there.

It is FREE but a bit of a treck to get to it, we took the train and the bus.

“Very good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2014

The museum has big hangars, lots of planes like a lancaster bomber, euro fighter typhoon, f35 lightning 2! And others.
Its free to get in and worth a visit, much better than IWM London.

“Royal Air Force Museum”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2014

I was not sure what to expect going here. i had been to several other museums which turned out to be small and not so much fun. When i arrived i was blown away by the first hanger to find that i had not even scraped the surface. Short walk from the tube eliminates the need to search for parking which there was a limited amount of. I would recommend taing food/water with you as there was a bit of a wait to get anything.

“A great display”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2014

I am not an enthusiast of airplane museums etc but went with hubby. He really enjoyed it and was very impressed with the range if aircraft there. He enjoyed seeing the real thing and getting familiar with actual size. We spent 2 hours there but you could spend double that time really.

“excellent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2014

Loved every second of it, staff were great and really knew what they were talking about. Yes it's full of planes and that's not for everyone but still worth a quick look round and it's free
