“Very impressed”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 5, 2014

A colleague and I were in London on business and needed to keep costs down. I had no expectations of Premier Inn as usually they are just functional and clean but this one was such a pleasant surprise. The staff were all very nice, rooms comfortable and well equipped (except no bottled water which would be nice). The Resturant and bar were nice places to be and breakfast was as good as anywhere. A pleasant surprise! Will definitely stay there again!

Stayed here for a 2 night stay. At £160 a night it is a little pricey for a budget hotel but this is London and so I guess that price is not too bad.
Premier inn beds are very big and very comfortable. The rooms are basic but clean with a few additions such as hair dryer, coffee making facilities and a decent sized tv screen.
The traffic outside means it's wise to keep windows and curtains closed at night, as the road is still busy even at 2am.
The food is good value and the breakfast is very good. They do some meal deals including a drink, but check to see if your drink is included as my pint of Stella wasn't.
Staff are very well trained at premier inns and are nearly always very friendly. The hotel is only a few hundred yards from tower bridge and an excellent location for touring around the sights.

My husband and I wanted a short midweek break in London without breaking the bank. This hotel was in a good location and was walking distance to the tower of london and tower bridge. Very friendly and welcoming staff and very comfortable room.

This is a great hotel with a really good breakfast. It is newly refurbished so everywhere was sparkling. The beds were really comfortable and the rooms a good size....we had a double and two singles as we had taken our 14 year and 11 year old grandchildren on a trip to London and wanted them in the same room. Staff were all very accommodating - friendly cheerful and always offering help...we couldn't fault them. The only thing I felt the hotel was wrong to say we were seconds away from iconic landmarks...although later I read it was supposed to be a 12 minute walk from one underground and a 14 minute walk from another....no way it is a 20 to 25 minute walk unless you are super fit with no children in tow and had we known the first time we walked to the hotel we would have taken a cab...just kept thinking it couldn't be much farther. We did walk one day to HMS Belfast and then across to the Tower of London but given that you walk a lot anyway in London we mostly took cabs....and the hotel will quickly get one for you as there was one parked at the back of the hotel. The hotel it's self I highly recommend.

Room Tip: We were on the 5th floor- no problem as there is a good lift service- and it was very quiet.

Just returned from a couple of nights at the Premier Inn Tower Bridge and we found it an excellent experience.

The welcome was friendly and the staff helpful throughout our stay. The big plus is how many tourist sites are within a gentle stroll. Tower Bridge (of course) but also HMS Belfast, The Shard, The Design Museum, etc etc. Only tiny downside is that the nearest tube stop (London bridge) is a 10 -15 min walk. But nearby bus connections are good. There is parking at the rear but we didn't use that.

Also nearby are a range of restaurants etc in the roads to the rear of the hotel as well as around Tower Bridge and Shad Thames if you choose to eat off site. We only had breakfast one day but this was fine, standard Premier inn "eat as much as you like" offering, it fills you up for the day.

London is never a cheap option but this is good value for money in a good location.

Room Tip: Rooms to rear have view of The Shard

Great location, clean, modern rooms. I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone travelling with children - I stayed here with my partner, 7 year old and 18 month old and the room was plenty big enough even with a cot in (which was like new - not grubby or marked).

Excellent location for my colleagues to attend a corporate event in the moat of the Tower of London. Most commented on the cleanliness of the hotel. The Group Reservation staff were most helpful and made sure that all went seamlessly when my colleagues checked in en masse. I shall certainly use the Comfort Inn Tower Bridge in future.
