We stayed in a family room at the beginning of April, can't fault this hotel at all. We took the kids down on the train (from Stoke) got off at Euston, then the tube to Putney Bridge. So easy, just outside London but only 20 mins into the centre for sight seeing.
Didnt eat at the hotel but menus looked reasonable and restaurant looked lovely. There is a Wetherspoons 5 mins walk away over the bridge.
From the outside, the hotel looks a bit scruffy but once you get inside, it looks like its been recently refurbished, very clean, very modern, lovely.
I had rang to request a room overlooking the thames, and we got it! We had a family room-it was massive, so clean, everything looked new, with a fab view of the Thames.
I had to call reception once and they dealt with my query very quickly.
All the staff we encountered were helpful, polite and efficient, so much so that on our return to Stoke, we discovered my eldest daughter had left her favourite teddy behind in the bed! nightmare! i rang the hotel, was told they had found it and they would send it back to us. To be honest, i wasnt sure if "Tim" would make it back but........1 week later he was back!!
Amazing service=one happy girl! I offered to pay postage, but they said no, its fine, i honestly cant thank them enough, fabulous service!
We would definitely stay here if we went down to london again and have already recommended it!
