“Beautiful Shopping Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2013 via mobile

If you like to imagine yourself shopping in another London era, check out this place off bustling Picadilly. Same shops, many unique to the Arcade and set along a wonderful enclosed walkway. You will find no deals here, but what a great place to spend some time shopping. Directly accross Picadilly is the smaller Picadilly Arcade.

“Beautiful--A Must See!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 23, 2013

The entire arcade is beautiful, but I'm puzzled that other reviewers make it sound as if there are mostly jewelers here. There are several, but my favorite shops are Pickett (for beautiful leather goods, especially handbags and jewelery boxes), House of Cashmere (for both men and women), Sermoneta (for fabulous gloves), and, of course, Laduree for macaroons. The shops are unique, and we were able to meet several of the owners. It was a great shopping experience in a lovely setting.

“Feel the history”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 12, 2013

When you stand in the center of the arcade, you can feel the history.
There are many of established stores quietly.
I felt cozy walking the arcade like Passages in Paris,
I shopped at Penhaligon's to buy body lotions, and a shopgirl was very kind and fraiendly.

“An architectutral gem.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 15, 2013 via mobile

A number of quality shops in delightful location worth a detour to see it. The architecture alone makes it worth the trip and the caped security are friendly and helpful.

“Architectural gem”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 8, 2013

The Burlington Arcade is one of those treasured London Arcades that connect two streets with lovely shops. Although not as swanky as in the past, enjoy the architecture. The barrel vaulted roof, etc.
