Thank you for your review and for your kind words about us. I am disappointed to hear that you did not completely enjoy your stay however I do understand completely where you are coming from.

I am not entirely certain when exactly you have stayed with us, although I suspect that it was the summer / autumn of 2005 just as I took ever as manager.

One of the things that I found incredibly frustrating was complaints from my guests about the noise from downstairs. I have tried to implement a system from beginning of 2006 whereby we would not actually place anyone who is not related to an event on the 2nd floor which is directly above the banqueting areas. If it is impossible to do so, I personally call the guests beforehand to apologize and offer to either find the alternative accommodation in the area or a discount on the agreed price.

This solution is obviously not ideal but at least it helps a little bit.

The layout of the room where you have stayed is indeed rather unfortunate and it is a room that I hoping to be able to redecorate completely in the near future. All other rooms are far more traditional.

I would like to offer you an opportunity to come back and stay with us with one night being complimentary. I hope that we managed by now to alleviate most of your concerns.

Dear Madam,

Thank you very much for your kind words about us. They are trully apreciated.

After you have stayed we have actually decided to keep a few DVDs at reception permanantly so whenever a family with children visits we offer them.

I am very aware of any noise coming from downstairs and for the last year or so we try to not place anyone who is not connected to an event in a room where music could be heard.

I hope to be able to do something about the rooms being worn as well.

Dear Madam,

Thank you for your kind words. They are very much appreciated and I will make sure to pass your comments on to Iwona.

We generally try to place guests that are not related to the functions on the upper floors, hence so that they would not hear any noise from our functions. When your dad was moved he was a little bit unfortunate as we did not have any other rooms available at that time to switch him to.

Satellite TV is next on the shopping list. We plan to install it and flat screen TVs throughout the building in January/February 2007.
