I love this church. It's spire was the basis for the modern wedding cake and inside it is light and airy. It also contains one of London's best kept secrets which, unfortunately was closed off on the day I re-visited. Underneath it is one of the most atmopheric crypts imaginable. There's an old iron coffin and even a Roman pavement as well as an exhibition that tells the story of the church. Unfortunately the fabric of the church is somewhat unstable so they've launched an appeal to raise funds to save the church. So visit it and donate as it really is a gem.
