“step back in time”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2013

Leadenhall Market is a step back in time it's a lovely cast iron built structure painted red and silver the shops are just as they would have looked in Dickens day. It is very quiet at the week end because the financial area is closed, I love the week end as you can see how quiet it is and just wonder round the narrow passages some of the shops are open but not many, just walk the old streets of London without all the people such a lovely atmosphere you can see the old buildings and ally ways. This part of London is best at the week end.

“Beautiful covered market”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2013

Personally to me it's the most beautiful market in London. You can find some of the finest food in town here.

“Not exactly a market ! but do not miss looking at it...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2013

One of those classic shopping arcades that were built with taste in the " olden times ". As stated, they do not open on the weekends, as they draw their customer base from the surrounding financial houses and not tourists.

“Diagon Alley”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2013

Went here to see the exterior scene of Diagon Alley (from Harry Potter) and found also a nice small, fancy market place. Beautiful architecture. Very close to the Tower of London and the sites in the City.

“One of the oldest markets in London!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 11, 2013

If you go on a weekend, all the stores are closed so you have the place to yourself and it gives you perfect photo opportunities. If you go on a week day, there are plenty of restaurants and pubs with really good food and drinks. Personally, I enjoyed Leadenhall Market far more than Covent Garden.
