“A Good bit of Naval History”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 15, 2013

Very interesting place, some great information supplied by a very informative volunteer assistant. Worth going to see the painted ceiling and the Chapel in the two domed rooms.

“Baroque Buildings”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 3, 2012

The former Thames Polytechnic became the University of Greenwich. The highlight for visitors is the Greenwich Campus, located in the Old Royal Naval College and also part of the Maritime Greenwich World Heritage Site.

This is the largest campus and is centred on three baroque buildings, Queen Anne Court, Queen Mary Court and King William Court, designed by Sir Christopher Wren.

“Lots to see and do”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 11, 2012

Beautiful building, lots of character. Exhibitions were good, seeing Nelson's uniform is a must! We spent two hours here and could have stayed for longer.

The painted hall is stunning. well worth a visit - there is a children's trail for £1 but ours were very interested without it.

“shame about the security guards”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 30, 2012

Spectacular place to visit - lovely architecture and the painted dining hall is truly amazing. However don't make the mistake we did and ask a civil question of the security guards - they will tell you with a snarl where the information desk is! Ouch.
