“beautiful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2012

First time in years that I had visited Greenwich and it was lovely. Really beautiful park to go to and the observatory adds another dimension to it too. You get some amazing views of the surrounding areas at the top of the hill.

“The sooner they clear out the Olympics mess, the better”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2012

The park has potential (great views on London, nice proximity to the royal naval college and the rest of maritime Greenwich) but the lawn, views and access have been wrecked by the Olympics installations - the place is a mess and visitors are funnelled into fenced-in paths over the entirety of the south quadrant of the park. Pretty unpleasant.

“Amazing!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2012

The park is huge! Also it is very peaceful and green. We took a cruise from the tower bridge to reach there, which in itself was a very good experience! There is also a maritime museum for anyone who is interested in ships! visit on a sunny day!

“In the country or not”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2012

This park is massive, green, leafy and very pleasant in the sunshine. It was the venue for 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Equestrian events and houses the Royal Observatory. Across the road at the lower end is the Royal Naval College and beyond that the River Thames.

Always worth the walk through foot tunnel - love going here with kids, lots of trees and space, well maintained
