“Excellent Hotel close to everything !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 21, 2013

Having stayed at Premier Inns before we knew what to expect. Very friendly staff and superb Rooms with great beds. We stayed here to combine a trip to Wembley and some sightseeing.
The Hotel is right next to the London Eye and close to Westminster Bridge, 100 yards from Waterloo station and Tube, so ideal for attractions and getting around. Staff were welcoming as usual and we ate in the restaurant at night which was very good and affordable for London standards. Considering the location not many of the rooms have views(15 i believe) which you either request or are lucky to get, but you are so close to everything you dont spend much time looking out of the window. Easy to leave your bags before or after check in and we used the Valet Parking, which wasnt cheap, but its not easy to park in London. lightly tricky to find the Hotel, Sat Nav had us going wrong, but find Chiceley St and you meet a barrier on Belvedere, press the button and Premier will open the barrier. You can then contact VIP Parking who will come and collect your car and park it securely close by, ours cost more than the £35 day rate as we were over this by about 6 hours so paid another 20. Park outside London and get the Tube or Train to Waterloo and stay here would be my advice.

Room Tip: There are only 15 with view, mostly family rooms, try and request one of these well in advance if yo...

Always greeted by any member of staff within the hotel, really wanted to make sure breakfast and stay was good, and helped us to get taxi's travel arrangements, any question we had not too much trouble and answered accurately and professionally, I did not take names which I should but lady who greeted us first day for breakfast and all ladies and gentlemen in breakfast hall really helpful despite being under EXTREME pressure sometimes, good sense of humour from all and REALLY friendly to the children asking them about their day and having fun with them. The position could not be better and can easily access Westminster or Waterloo underground stations, the beautiful view of the London Eye at breakfast, lovely clean quiet and comfortable rooms and the Aquarium, London Eye, London Dungeons, French Bakery, restaurants, shops, small fairground and the Southbank and boat trips, Palace of Westminster and 'Big Ben' what more could you ask. More expensive than most Premier Inn's and always really busy, so BOOK EARLY and you can get a good deal and a great room, family rooms often really hard to get hold of so book as far ahead as you possibly can.

This is the second time we have stayed here and we remain pleased with the level of service. Location is excellent and there is a secure luggage room which is so useful for a few hours either before checking in or after checking out. The staff are always friendly and obliging.

There is now wi fi access in the bedrooms and you have the benefit of half an hour a day, free of charge. It is a little tricky getting connected, but we managed in the end. Staff are very willing to give extra help. However, many hotels now give free wi fi access at all times and it is becoming increasingly expected. So Premier - how about it? You would then earn an 'excellent' rating from this particular customer.

Breakfast is good. The food ingredients are of good quality and the coffee is excellent. Staff work incredibly hard at clearing tables and replenishing the buffet. Because they are also well staffed in numbers, breakfast traffic is moved along smoothly - even at busy times like this last weekend.

This time we were lucky enough to have a room with a view of Jubilee Gardens. Some of the rooms are rather dark due to the outlook and near proximity of buildings blocking out a bit of light as well as a view. However, one does not come to London to look out of the window, so it is a slight disappointment only.

I have noticed that on both visits there has been a problem with a TV signal. The first time it was rectified - this time we did not bother to report it as we were not wanting to watch TV.

The rooms have nice digital safes but there is a charge - again, many hotels include this as a facility and I personally rather grudge a charge being made for this service.

There is a pleasant bar area and good vending machines in the foyer, providing bottled water and other soft drinks and snacks.

All in all this hotel suits us and it is one that we shall return to.

Very good location, easy to reach most attractions by foot. Nearest tube is Waterloo, just 3 min walk. Restaurants and pubs close by rail station but the hotel restaurant is good too,
Small room, doubles are one queen bed. Safe in room but costs 1,50 per night. Good english breakfast. Double glass gave quiet room at night.

stayed at this hotel for our son's graduation at the Royal festival hall, so this hotel could not have been in a better location. on arrival we took the tube to waterloo and this hotel is just few minutes walk, check in was fast and easy and our room was ready for us. room was bigger than most hotels we have stayed in in London, double and single bed and still plenty of room. Room was clean with everything we needed. location was amazing right next to the London eye. Breakfast was good value with plenty of choice and hot and cold options. will definitely stay here on our next visit to the capital, why spend hours searching for hotel when this hotel has everything you need for a stay in London.

Spent 3 nights here in May and had a great break. Excellent location by the London Eye,
friendly and helpful staff and the bed was a comfortable king size. Had the full english breakfast
which was good value and used good quality ingredients.

There is also good access to buses, the tube and the clippers on the river.

We will be staying here again in the future.

We stayed here two nights in April ( 2 adults and 2 children 12 and 9). We loved it!! The room most importantly, was very clean and larger than the European standard. The beds were also very confortable. The staff was very organized. However the location and the breakfast are the highlights of the hotel. It is right in front of the eye (with a partial view from the window) and on the Thames River (next to Westminster Bridge), with a 15 minute walk to Trafalgar Square. It is right next to the main cheery tourist sights!!!! The real English breakfast is a must (although a bit pricey but kids eat free) LOTS OF CHOICES AND REAL ENGLISH TRADITIONAL FOODS. The kids loved the breakfast and it added to the cultural experience of beautiful London! We will definately be back!
