Much of my own experience has been pointed out already by other reviewers.
The hotel tries hard. There is more by way of gadgets in this place than on a space shuttle. A huge TV; a huge bed; and pretty well no room for anything else. I simply don't know what you would do with a big suitcase in the room. The beds are one of the big selling points and, without being too geeky about it, it was one of the main reasons I went there. Haston beds are the best in the world. But, the thing is, they have bought beds that are not the best Hastons. Yes, they "massage" - actually they vibrate rather than massage. A bit of fun, but I was worried if the noise would travel right through the floor to the room below. Anyway, next morning I could hear a vibrating bed from above. Frankly, totally naff.
The shower is tiny and, like was said by another reviewer, the floor floods when you use it. The sink is tiny; the wardrobe tiny; everything is tiny except the bar of soap which is about half the size of the bathroom.
Service in the restaurant for breakfast (French style, tiny croissants, tiny cups of coffee, tiny bowls for cereal, but all fresh and tasty) was pretty poor actually. The fellow serving was trying hard, but seemed to have amnesia. One lady I heard saying "don't bother about the coffee, we need to go". He had got my coffee before hers, even though I came in after her, and was polishing glasses after he attended to me. He also forgot to bring me a few items I asked for.
I was on business. There was simply no where to work with a desk or table. I had to go to the bar, and squeeze in on a table that they were working around setting for dinner.
I would not stay there again. It is not cheap..... it is not comfortable..... it is not in a great area....
Okay, it is trying hard, but to be honest it is trying too hard to market itself as up market and it is not. It reminded me a lot of the Yotel in Heathrow which actually has almost as much room in its doubles, but costs about a quarter of the price.
