Description: The Jam Tree pub and restaurant in Chelsea is a beautiful thing a pub in (nearly) central London with an amazing beer garden. Having undergone a makeover, The Jam Tree is now a full-blown gastropub, though the menu diverges from the usual pub fare. Although dishes like duck and pork terrine; and lamb rump with Jersey Royals and peas do feature, theyre rubbing shoulders with far more exotic fare. Dishes like Jamaican chicken curry with rice and peas; and vegetarian rendang curry with nasi goreng wear their influences on their sleeves. Desserts are pure British comfort food, with a range of traditional puddings plus an all-British cheeseboard. On a weekend, you can start the day here with brunch, drop in for lunch with the kids, share a dinner with mates or party the night away theres a 2am late licence every Friday and Saturday night, and DJs from 10.30pm.

“Tasty food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 31, 2013

Got in early, ambience was good for a relaxed Sunday lunch. Great date pub, understated, a bit quirky ( check the wall cover in the ladies). Service a bit hit and miss but good overall.

“Love The Jam Tree”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2013

Everything about this place screams at you "this is what a gastropub is supposed to be like!!!"

Inventive and clever menu. Large portions. Great value for money. Young but friendly crowd.

Looks great, sounds great, smells great and tastes great!

“one of the best English Sunday roasts I've had”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 10, 2012

last night I met a friend at The Jam Tree in Chelsea on the Kings Road. had been meaning to get there for a while as I'd heard good things. I opted for the chicken roast, a big glass of Mont Rocher, the apple and blackberry crumble dessert. the chicken was very tasty, the gravy was perfect. pig in blanket was excellent. often I'm disappointed by the quality of a Sunday roast but the quality of this one means I'll definitely return to try the rest! the crumble was pretty good too. liked the cosy atmosphere and soft lighting.

“Very young crowd”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2012

Always buzzy bar scene with great outside space. Staff are fun and up for a laugh. We always leave here a little worse for wear but cabs seem to appear as if on cue. Being in my late thirties I am always struck how young the crowd is. Like a boarding school has let out early for the weekend, and maybe it has.

“A taste of Heaven”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2012

We went there as a family for what we hoped would be a good Sunday lunch. The whole experience was totally amazing, lovely friendly helpful staff and food that was out of this world. The varied menu was great but also catered so well for vegetarian requests.
Nothing was too much trouble. The service was quick and efficient, yet we were able to enjoy each course without feeling rushed, which can so often be the case in busy eating places.
Would we return, most definitely yes. I can highly recommend The Jam Tree if you want to eat somewhere with great food that makes the customer feel they are really important. Can't wait for our next visit, truly special. Thank you Jam Tree
