I only stayed one night at the Fox & Grapes. The three rooms that are let out are extremely well appointed, lovely en suite facilities (although there was a drain smell in my room), quaintly names after Wombles - Wellington, Cholet and Tobermory... sigh... Beautiful white linen and Nespresso coffee machine with a clear acrylic chair a le Philippe Starke. Excellent and warm welcome although busy with diners and not sure where to check in. Good breakfast - continental included - and for an extra small amount of money - build your own breakfast which is a great idea. Who wants to pay a tenner for an egg on toast? Slightly off putting with a cleaner vacuuming up whilst I was eating and that typical old vacuum cleaner bag smell. Maybe my sense of smell is too sensitive! Don't expect quiet, also food smells. All goes quite about half eleven. Nice though, quite expensive. Would probably stay again and have supper this time.
