“Really good Premier Inn...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2013

This Premier Inn is in a really good location for just about anywhere in London via the rail network. There are two DLR stations about equidistant from the hotel and the overground station is somewhere in between. Greenwich town is only ten minutes walking time away with all its attractions, and then there's the Thames with boat trips available from Greenwich Pier…
We had a lovely large room on the top floor that even offered a view towards the Observatory on the hill. Breakfast was as normal for a Premier Inn, though we found it decimated once or twice by overnighting coach parties, but always replenished quickly.
On two evenings we ate at the Thyme restaurant and the food was good, tasty and delivered to the table very hot.
All of the staff we dealt with were very friendly and helpful, especially on the 'pyjama day' they held for Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital, great fun with no decline in service!
Would not hesitate to stay again.

Located about 10 minute walk from Greenwich which is full of tourist attractions and 5 minutes from Deptford High Street which has a great London market. You can get the bus from Deptford Bridge bus station straight into central London for £1.40 with an oyster card. Or you can walk to the DLR at Cutty Sark or Deptford Bridge (bit closer) to go anywhere on the DLR line or connect to the tube lines. Or you can get the main line train from Greenwich station into central London. Just saying all this because some people have said the hotel is too out of the way. If you want an affordable hotel in London it's not going to be central though, is it?! Room was spacious and nice. Breakfast was good, it is a buffet. Had dinner here one night and it was lovely. We got family room for a great price.

The hotel was clean and tidy. The bar staff were ok. The bar shut at 12 midnight, which was a bit early. The night porter knocked on our door asking us to be quieter?! We were only watching the XFactor and not being rowdy at all. The only adjoining room was my daughters and she was in the same room as me at the time, so no one had complained. The bathroom extractor fan did not work in both of our rooms. The rooms were big and could have accommodated 2 double beds for 4 people but only had 1 double and a single in each so for 4 people we had to book 2 rooms, costing us double.

Stayed here for two nights. Bad idea for the 02, Its Quite a distance you will either need a cab @ £14.00 or take the train from Greenwich to London Bridge then back out on the Jubilee line to North Greenwich a lot of hassle. It was a long walk to anywhere. The rooms were small compared to other Premier inns. The breakfast wasn't that nice fried eggs were hard, none of it looked fresh. To top it off woke up this morning with a knock on the door from the house keeper to see if there is anyone in the room!!!!.....at 8AM......The bar staff were very good.

Room Tip: If going to the 02 don't stay here.

My wife and I spend a couple of nights over a weekend at the Premier Inn at Greenwich and were very impressed. Premiers always have great rooms and beds (Lenny is right!) but this time the restaurant was also top notch - with a great offer for breakfast and evening meal with great service, we had several really nicely cooked and served meals.

Very clean and friendly place warm reception, rooms clean only problem was it was further away from the centre than we thought, and as we were over 70 it seemed to us a long walk, if we had realised we would have got a taxi. Found the buses outside of hotel so everything turned out great
