We chose Zizzi because of its location on the riverbank, and also because we have eaten at the Glasgow Zizzi which is excellent. I chose the fish stew, while my wife chose the lamb. Within a few minutes however she was told that all the lamb was gone, so she chose from the 'tapas' selection. Although the meals were slow in coming, I guess Italian food is not 'fast food' and anyway the surrounding s are great while you sip your wine. The food is well cooked by the chefs who are working in view of diners behind the pass. Not as good as the Glasgow restaurant but still pretty good. One thing I would say in defence of the waiting staff, people kept coming into the restaurant and going straight to a table when there are clear signs asking you to wait to be seated, this obviously caused frustration on both sides.
