I had an excellent draft beer here though it was VERY expensive. The outside seating area is exceptionally pleasant even on a dreary, cloudy day so would be lovely in the sun.
The food though, mediocre in my experience. A warm salad as starter certainly didn't include "crispy" pancetta as described in the menu but I looked forward to a tasty Jambalaya for my main course. Well...... there are several ways to cook a Jambalaya and theirs failed to approximate to any of them. The base was plain, unseasoned, boiled white rice topped with barely warmed chopped salad vegetables, the only spice being raw chili slices. The chicken and prawns were cooked (fortunately!) but similarly bland. No hint of a tasty stock. Unfortunately the staff were totally disinterested in their shortfalls :-(
