“Quality shell fish, great Soho location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 31, 2012

Love this place - fantastic sea food. The shell fish platter's are brilliant and you can build your own, which is a nice touch.

Downstairs is great, where you eat on long benches. (Not like Wagamama's) you get your own bench.

The staff are great, I have been served by the same guy twice, who is brilliant. Takes the micky out of you but in a real fun way.
Go there, get your Oysters, smash a couple of bottles of crisp White - Excellent!!!

“Good value and very tasty”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 26, 2012

Had the early evening theatre deal. Limited choice on menu but didn't have a problem with what was on offer. Had the whitebait to start - very good and you could tell it was fresh. Followed by mackerel - then tart. Really enjoyed the meal and I liked the layout of the restaurant. Two entrances to the restaurant and on several levels.

“Great Atmoshere and Excellent Food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 24, 2012

This was a very enjoyable dining experience with lots of help from a lovely Waitress from Tipperary. The food was of a very high standard. My mussels were delicious whilst my son,s steak and langoustines looked and tasted great. My daughter in law assured me her oysters were a joy. Whilst not cheap cheap for a London centre location good value. Would definitely visit again.

“Good atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 22, 2012

Booked here with a group of 10. I rather liked the decor and the layout - it's on a couple of different levels and helps create a good atmosphere. I don't really eat shellfish so am not able to testify to the quality of many items on the menu. However my dining partners consumed great quantities of various fruits de mer without complaint! For main course I went for braised duck leg, a strange choice in a fish restaurant with limited menu outside its speciality. However I was impressed by the tenderness but most importantly it was served with quite simply the best pommes frites I think I've had in a long while! The two together went very well. The wine menu here was also very good. The service was not very attentive, that actually didn't bother use at all as we were sitting down for a very long late lunch and didn't mind about that. On another occasion though it would not really be acceptable.

“Reel in great catches at this resto”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 18, 2012

Super late dinner after the theatre. Great starters of calimari, potted crab and their amazing gravlax. Three of us had brilliant moules frites and I had the best dover sole meuniere with tiny shrimp and capers ever. Wine was great value and the restaurant was beautifully appointed.
