“Glorious afternoon tea”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 24, 2013

A beautiful treat for my birthday this year and it was splendid.

The staff are friendly yet totally professional, nothing is too much or too complicated for them. We were in the park room I think it was looking over hyde park with some fabulous piano music in the background.

Tea selection was outstanding (I recommend the Royal!) and the food was beautiful, champagne out of this world and the staff singing my happy birthday a fabulous (yet slightly embarrassing) touch!

I couldn't say enough positive things about our experience ,hopefully next time we can stay!

Already the check in was nice. Very friendly people working in this hotel. You never have to look for anybody if you need help. There is always somebody around without being bothering. The rooms are very big, in excellent condition and in case you have a room to the park the view is fabolous as well.yhe choice at breakfastbis very good ( here the least friendly people of the hotel are working and sometimes unneccessary queues appear because the attention could be better), the seatung us nice as well. In the main lobby you can find comfortable sofas while listening to a piano player.

I stayed here whilst attending a conference and can only state it lived up to its reputation, the staff were great, facilities great and a really nice experience.
Even the breakfast accommodated for my every need and it was nice to sit and relax watching the busy world of London start a new day.

I stayed here after a Transatlantic Crossing on the Queen Mary and found it very nice but not as good as it could have been. The room itself was great, large, well furnished and with a bathroom that had old school plumbing fixtures that worked great and were beautiful to boot. The service, on the other hand, while not bad, was just average. There were large groups apparently staying here and that bogged down the concierge and other services. Breakfast was included in our fee and was very good. I WOULD stay again but while it was a very nice place to be, I can't call it memorable as some of the other top flight London hotels are. Price was reasonable considering all the amenities.

This is our first time out of the country but definitely not our first stay with Marriott. We are Silver Elite members and we booked our flight and hotel thru Marriott Rewards. We were greeted with a friendly attendant and the check-in was smooth. We were given a Superior room (upgrade) for our 25th wedding anniversary and welcomed with a bowl of fresh fruit upon our arrival to our room.

Our room was actually an accessible room, however I don't see how someone could use the tub for showering if they are in a wheelchair. The room is nice but dated. It has switched blinds that open and close with the touch of a switch.

The hotel features two restaurants, one of which is a steak house which we had the pleasure of patronizing.

This hotel is within 5 minutes waking distance to the Marble Arch tube station and a 15 minute walk to lots of shopping. I would recommend this hotel if you are staying for a special event such has an anniversary. It is very classy

Everyone at the Hotel is super friendly.

I stayed here last night (16th Nov) and had a fantastic stay. From the minute we were checked in to when we checked out it was great. Dimitrius who checked us in was an absolute credit to the company, very friendly and very very helpful. David at Breakfast was very entertaining and friendly too. Two very good employees that deserve recognition definitely. The only downside albeit a small niggle was the lady doing the toast at breakfast wasn't the most polite person but not bad enough to ruin our stay xxxx

I have stayed here many times and the rooms and service are all very good and it's in a great location and in good walking distance of the shops and great bars and restaurants.

I have stayed in many other good hotels in Mayfair but this one is the best and the staff are all very friendly.
