“Marvellous Value for Central Position”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2013

Stayed for one night but shall be returning and will definatley stay at this hotel. As others have said the rooms are rather small BUT very quiet, clean with all facillities (Kettle, TV, hair dryer, tea etc.).
Our room was actually in the basement (next to the restaurant) but no noise problems and excellent heating (late march with snow outside!)
Staff very helpful and if you fancy a decent pint then do try the Yorkshire Grey (a good old fashioned pub) opposite

We stayed two nights mid-week and were very satisfied with the facilities. The hotel was spotlessly clean, the staff were very pleasant and helpful and it is very convenient for the BBC,
Regent Street and Oxford Circus tube station. A small but comfortable lounge with newspapers and magazines. Very good valus for money as London prices go.

The hotel is pleasant, good value for central london, given it's location close to Oxford Street, the rooms are a bit on the small side but very nicely decorated and furnished.

Breakfast was OK, though service was a bit slow. In the evening the bar had no one serving, which was a shame as the lounge area was quite pleasant, we had to go the pub over the road for a drink.

I would stay here again

Room Tip: Go for the Exec room, it's slightly bigger

We stayed at this hotel because it advertised a great deal via the internet. We paid £86 without Breakfast for an overnight stay. What a bargain, very convinient near Carnaby Street and in easy walking distance of all the theatres. Friendly staff, very clean rooms although not very big. We would certainly stay here again, perhaps next time we will stay for a longer period. Check our Sergios Italian over the road too. Really lovely pizza

This hotel, a former abortion hospital, is striking from the outside and has a cosy and intimate 'town hotel' feel. The staff are efficient and friendly but the one rather outmoded lift is inadequate at busy times. It's certainly in a great location, within two minutes' walk of Oxford Street and Regent Street shops, not many minutes from Soho and Theatreland, handy for a stroll to relax in Regent's Park if the weather is fine. Breakfast is served in the basement with no natural light, but the room has been recently refurbished and is pleasant enough, and the food is perfectly acceptable. The real downside is the size of the bedrooms, which are among the smallest I've ever encountered in a quality hotel (except in Paris). You can just about walk all the way round the bed, but in doing so you may have to bend to avoid hurting yourself on the cupboard housing the tea kettle. Some of the bathrooms are so cramped you have to be a contortionist to sit on the toilet properly. As long as you're not planning to spend much time in your room, apart from sleeping hours, this is a well-located and affordable choice.

This hotel is in a fantastic location. I stayed with my mum for two nights on a girls shopping break and we were within walking distance of so much. The area itself was nice and had some lovely pubs as well as a couple of national chains like Strada.
The room itself was nice enough. The beds comfortable and bathroom a good size. The only thing that let the hotel down was the breakfast. This was included in our room rate because we'd paid extra but was supposed to be worth £25 and it wasn't!
I found the staff helpful and although the lift was a little temperamental it was working when we were there.

I booked four rooms at the Grange Langham for a 3 night stay with business associates. The hotel staff were the rudest service people I have ever encountered in any stay at any hotel in the world and I travel a great deal. Although the photos appeared to show a very acceptable decor, the rooms were not at all like the photographs. The elevator was broken and the flights of stairs narrow and steep. The staff could not be bothered to assist even female travelers with their bags. They continuously had construction items in the hall including chairs that blocked emergency exits. Even after asking that they be moved because of fire code, they refused. Te restaurant was overpriced and the food was below average. The only thing I can say positive, the outside is attractive and the neighborhood quiet with several good pubs close. I would never return though.
