“comfortable hotel with easy access to central London”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2010

I was visiting for a business meeting. Hotel was very affordable for meeting business colleagues and for enjoying a social evening out in London. Check in was professional and prompt. Rooms was simple but very comfortable. Excellent bathroom facilities. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet which offered a well thought out range of products for a Continental breakfast. Bill was accurate. I would stay again at this hotel

We loved it here, the big rooms, large bathroom with a bath. Excellent location.
Staff were happy to mind the luggage after we checked out - some hotels don't.
We would stay here again

Just got back from IBIS, room great as usual, lovely and clean all was well until the drilling started. Apparently upgrading some rooms drilling started 8.am saturday morning and stil going 5.30pm when we decided to go out, did ring to reception and was told could be moved to another room why did they not just put us in the other room to start with!!!
Have never had need to complain before

Location is extremely convinient, euston tube station being just bang across the road. Oxford street is just two stops from euston, and euston station offers the central and nothern lines. shopping and fast food joints available at the euston station. The street to the right of the hotel called drummond steet has a number of indian food joints and general stores. The rooms and bathrooms are small, but clean and confortable. Service varies, sometimes its great, sometimes just average. Breakfast variety and taste is average. Reastaurant and bar is average.

Stay here regularly on weekends in London. Literally 2 minutes walk out of Euston, its a really convenient location. Reasonable walk to lots of locations - if you can be bothered, e.g. British Museum, Oxford Street, Camden Town, and close to the Tube.
Rooms are a little dated but clean. Staff are fine and you can leave luggage.
You can usually check in/out at 12 noon which is better than most other places. Always lots of deals on room prices , so well worth it as a base in a good location.

I have stayed at the Ibis Euston several times whilst working in London, its always good value considering the location, very accessible, literally a few steps from Euston station with great transport links for the rest of London.
Rooms are basic but clean, bathrooms again basic, but good sized, decent shower. I think the beds are really comfortable but some find them a little firm apparently. Air conditioning system isn't great but the windows open fully to let air in if needed.
I notice some people complain of excessive noise... I've never had a problem with noise here but I do always request a room on an upper floor.
Breakfast is good for the price but the earlier you can get to breakfast the better as it does get busy.
I find the staff friendly and accommodating, there are sometimes queues to check out but there is an express check-out option.
Overall I think, a good basic hotel, decent value for the location.

We did a quick trip to London the weekend before christmas to see a show and do some shopping. This was a perfect hotel to stay in for a short visit. The fantastic thing about the hotel is its location, literally around the corner from the Euston underground from where you can get to most central London locations in a matter of minutes on the tube. There are also a few eateries next to the station, such as Pret a Manger and the Bagel Bar which is great for getting a snack or breakfast somewhere near the hotel. The hotel itself is spotless and well maintained. Our room was actually bigger than expected and the bed was comfortable. Bathroom was on the small side but that wasn't an issue, it had a nice hot shower and was very clean. We found the staff to be lovely - friendly and helpful. We didn't eat at the hotel so cannot comment on that. Overall a perfect , budget friendly hotel to stay when visiting London. The next time we go to London we will certainly stay here again.
