“Cramped and uncomfortable”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed February 11, 2014 via mobile

This is supposed to be a four star hotel, so I was expecting something quite nice...the location is good, but the room we were given was very cramped...the bathroom is a shower cubicle with a WC and tiny basin shoved in, And a frosted GLASS DOOR which is SEE-THROUGH...most disconcerting.
The wardrobe is a cupboard which holds 6 hangers, and there was one small drawer. If you were staying for more than a couple of nights and had a large suitcase full of clothes you would be living out of same suitcase. Goodness knows what Americans think of this hotel...it certainly isn't four star.

Good location. Snotty almost rude female receptionist. Booked a twin, given a double. Room was changed but not without a snotty telling off of us from the receptionist.
Rooms small and basic. Plaster needs tydying. No where to put toiletries in the bathroom and strange idea of wet room style shower which once used makes whole floor wet.
Beds were comfortable and temperature was fine.
Venetian blinds ok at night but not great once sun was up.
Cheap price for a Friday in London.

Great location close to numerous museums and main line stations. The staff were very helpful and patient.
Lovely clean and compact room with all facilities you could want. Bed was a touch narrow but the mattress was firm so we didn't roll together too much.
Will stay here again.

Stayed for two nights, myself and my daughter. I had booked a twin room, however we were given a double room at first, had to ask for a twin room. Room was nice until we took a shower, unfortunately once the drain was used it smelled terribly of Urine and I had to keep the bathroom door closed. Spoke to reception in the morning, said they were "sorry" and would sort it out.. I assumed they did becasue even though the smell was still there that evening it not as bad.. still i reported it again on checkout and again just got a "sorry". I know we could have asked to move rooms, but as we only spent time in the room to sleep i couldnt be bothered. Now I am waiting for my money to be refunded as one payment is still "in holding" and the other has been taken out of my account leaving me overdrawn in my bank. Not very impressed at all with the level of customer service at all.

We really liked this hotel, just a short walk from Euston Station, the staff were so friendly nothing seemed too much trouble. The room was very clean and comfortable with a lovely bathroom, and the lighting was good, as sometimes rooms are a little dark in hotels. We paid extra for cooked breakfast with a voucher purchased at the main desk. This was well worth just a little more (pence only) than for the continental. The food was cooked to order and was delicious. We would not hesitate going to this hotel again when visiting the capital.

Room Tip: not really sure regarding the room, we went up in the lift to 216. There only seemed to be 3 rooms...

A nice little place within walking distance of Euston rail station. Staff nice and very helpful. We stayed in a deluxe room with 40in plasma, coffee maker, robe and slippers even with a really comfy king bed. If you are a light sleeper perhaps not an ideal choice as its near a major A&E dept so the sirens are rampant but didn't keep us awake.

I spent the night here travelling for business. The location is ideal for rail travellers - easy from Kings Cross. Small, neat and smart. Rooms are compact but very clean- if you prefer a bath then most rooms don't have one - so check first. Bar closed fairly early - we were asked to drink up and leave which is a bit unusual for a hotel. Breakfast was continental as standard - which was fine for me - but if you prefer a cooked breakfast it will add to your cost. Use this hotel if you are needing to get to and from the station fast. Easy access to Euston and tube so rest of London easy from here. Plenty of good restaurants nearby as well.

Room Tip: Room was to the front - just off Euston Road - get a higher floor to avoid traffic noise.
