“Above and Beyond”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2012

We stayed in this hotel for one night and were delighted, firstly by the hospitality of the staff and secondly by the value for money.

We were greeted by Patrick, who was more than happy to help us with anything we needed and also gave us some information of the area, transport and details of our stay.

We were again surprised by the kindness of the staff when, after sleeping in and missing breakfast, we had a knock at the door. Full continental breakfast, Crossants, Pan au chocolat, hot toast, jam, yoghurt and even some fruit!!

To save us carrying around our heavy backbacks and as no-one else was checking in, the staff even let us check out late at no charge, which gave us some time to explore Camden and Hampsted Heath.

The BnB is located about 10 minutes walk from Camden Market.

I would definately recommend The Westport Inn to anyone who is looking for a cheap nights stay in (an often over-expensive) London.

Room Tip: The single and the double rooms are both very spacious.

I would most definately stay here again and recommend it to others. It's within walking distance to Camden Markets and close to the tube. The staff are really friendly and go beyond what is expected of them. Due to the price i wasn't expectibng much but the rooms are spacious and clean. Weprinted club tickets online but didn't have a printer so the guys that owned it (sorry didn't get a name) used his personal printer to try and print for us. When it was time to check out we were told they was no great hurry and not to rush. Can't believe we got so lucky - thanks guys x

We were going to a wedding at a venue just off regent street but couldn't really find an affordable hotel in that area all the reasonable hotels were full so we booked the Westport Inn solely on the strength of the tripadvisor reviews We were only going to the reception in the evening but that change and we where asked to attend the whole day. we were to arrive at the hotel at 2.00pm but arrived at 11.00am without prior notice.. our room was'nt ready but they very kindly gave us a spare room to get dressed for the wedding, and that they would transfer our bags later to our room. the thing is this it's just a pub who've not long started b&b. its a bit rough round the edges but we only paid £55 so don't expect a five star., but what you get is 5 star service friendly ,obliging and helpful. they ordered our taxi to take us to the wedding in the City centre the company was called ' Bee Gee ' cabs who arrived on time and,got us through lunchtime traffic, to arrive with time to spare, the driver was called Moustaph who's a gem, he came back to collect us at the end of the wedding excellent service and very reasonable . Just want to say thanks to Patrick for the above, and Damien who did breakfast lovely, i would be happy to stay there again.

Room Tip: superb service for a super cost,we loved it. cheers

Stayed here for one night (Saturday), with a friend. Was looking for somewhere cheap and close to Camden. This place was perfect, was greeted with a smile in the bar, where we had a drink on arrival. Within moments we were shown to our room, which was adequate for the purpose of our stay. A twin room which was of a good size. The bathrooms were shared with other guests, but wasn't a problem. Everywhere was clean and tidy.
Didn't use any public transport, as we only walked to Camden (10 mins). We decided to drive and parking was not a problem as weekends is free and no permits required on all surrounding roads. Ideal location for Hampstead, Kentish town and Camden.
The staff made us feel very welcome and provided us with a very substantial breakfast. On the whole, the stay was excellent and I would have no qualms with returning here. Superb value, without paying top London prices. Does exactly what it says on the tin! Many thanks to Patrick and all the staff.

I stayed for two nights the room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was very helpfull, they provided me with an adapter for me to be able to use my electronics and when it was time for me to move to my student dorms a couple of streets away the owner even gave me a lift since I had soo many bags. They were very helpfull. Thank You.... and the breakfast provided by the cafe in front varied and good.
