“Very Nice Hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2013

Had a lovely stay at this hotel. As other people have said already the friendliness of the staff and their professionalism on the front desk is truly wonderful, nothing is too much trouble including topping up the parking meter for our car.

Nice touches like a hand written welcome card in your room are nice with always a little gift waiting for you, last time some aroma therapy oils, this time two small pots of lip balm.

Rooms are wonderfully appointed although some are a little on the small size.

The only draw back is there is no restaurant ( but 24 hour room service menu) or breakfast room so breakfast has to be taken in your room or in either the library or lounge which can get a little crowded and awkward to eat off low coffee style tables or on your lap and if there are four or more traveling together wishing to meet up for breakfast or have a breakfast meeting it could be tricky.
Rooms 201. 202. 203 and 204 are good doubles, nicest room other than the Knightsbridge suite is room 5 a nice large room on the basement level with no real view but a large and comfortable room with a bathroom with bath and separate shower and is probably the best value.

Room Tip: Ask for room 5 or 3 and 4 in the basement as these are larger than the upstairs rooms ( unless you w...

“One of the best hotels I have stayed in”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 16, 2013

Great hotel. Rooms are well appointed, comfortable and clean. Even better is the staff - gracious , welcoming and warm. Would do anything to make a stay great. I have stayed several times and is my go-to hotel in London.

Room Tip: If you get a lower ground floor room, listen for walking above before you accept. All other rooms a...

“Convenient, luxurious and personal”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 9, 2013

I have stayed in this hotel twice and each time my experience has been very good indeed. The location –in a quiet square just next to Harrods – is very convenient and well connected. The premises are pretty and well maintained in an old town house. I enjoy the reception rooms downstairs – where you can have breakfast, read the papers or just hang out. I also like the honor bar with hard liquor and ice cream. The rooms themselves can be smallish but they are charming in an English chintz meets South-East Asia kind of way. The service is really excellent. Many hotels in London are let down by their staff but at the Knightsbridge they are unfailingly helpful, polite and discreet.

“Fantastic experience!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 5, 2013 via mobile

This hotel has it all. It's close to Harrod's, The Tube, and Knightsbridge shopping. It's also an easy walk to many local sites. The hotel is gorgeous, yet cozy and comfortable and the staff is very professional and helpful. The rooms are wonderfully decorated. What really caught my eye was exquisite attention to detail, from a heated towel rack, to welcoming notes from the staff, to a beautiful bathroom and accessories, a great hairdryer(!), the honor bar. I could go on and on. Our stay there was wonderful.

“Great part of town”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2013

Small but charming, this hotel is located in one of the most beautiful parts of London. I loved the funky lobby with it's illuminated ladder. The breakfasts were divine and the service spot on. Self-serve mini bar area for late night noshing was great.
