“A good experience except the noise”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

I stayed here on business for two nights. The overall experience was good starting with check in through to check-out but unfortunately I was unlucky enough to have very very noisey people in the next room. I had to complain and the staff did their best to deal with a difficult situation. I was offered free breakfast as compensation which although a nice gesture, did not make up for my business day ruined from a lack of sleep. It might be well worth considering having some rooms specifically set aside for familys which are well away from the business community.

Booked three Queen guest rooms for the Sunday night over the August bank holiday weekend, and were very pleasantly surprised on arrival to be greeted not only BY a very warm welcome by the staff but a warm cookie! The rooms were lovely, very well fitted out and had absolutely everything we needed, including iron/board, hairdryer, ipad docking/charging device, fridge, mini safe, tea tray, and specialist coffee machine. The beds and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, the bathroom lush. The fitness suite was well fitted out (especially for a central London hotel) although sadly we didn't have time to use. Location was great, opposite Hyde Park, we used the underground car park overnight, but used the tube to travel around, and this hotel is right on top of Queensway station. Breakfast was good, plentiful choice and friendly staff. The most exceptional thing about our stay was the staff on reception, it was obvious from the moment we arrived they were a happy bunch that got along well, as you could feel the warm atmosphere among them, and it was infectious, what more could you ask!

Room Tip: We were at the side overlooking the road into the car park, which was good, as virtually no road noi...

7 people in my family spent 3 nights at this hotel last week. As other reviewers mentioned, great location near underground and buses, convenient to restaurants and shopping, quiet area. Rooms were larger and quite comfortable as compared to other places I've stayed in London.

The best thing about the hotel was the staff. All were friendly and happy to assist. The Concierge, Chrys, was unbelievably helpful with suggestions and incredibly patient when it took over 1/2 hour to print our boarding passes.

The restaurant was good as well. Unfortunately, I don't remember the manager's name, but he was so nice and very accommodating.

It took a long time to decide on a hotel, and we were all very happy with this decision.

We had a lovely stay in the double tree. Felt very luxurious despite us only paying just over £100 for B&B (which I don't think is too bad for London...) only rating as 4 stars due to breakfast.

Staff were great, helpful and friendly and you get a free (and delicious) cookie on check in! Bribery totally works when cookies are involved...

Room was very nice - queen bed, 40" TV, iPod Dock and nespresso machine which we enjoyed! Bathroom was small but nice - big walk in shower and Crabtree and Evelyn toiletries. Only problem is that the toilet was in a tiny space - not great if you're big or have long arms - my boyfriend kept bashing his elbows! There was an iron, Hairdryer, mini fridge, air conditioning etc.

Breakfast was more than adequate but nothing special - cheap sausages, a bit of muesli, some croissants etc.

Location is great, 5 mins from a tube station and Kensington gardens. A few minutes for some boris bikes which we used a lot!

We thought it was great value and will be visiting again.

We stayed here at the beginning of August for four nights while on a long weekend in London.
Check-in was very efficient and friendly. Our room was smart, modern, bed was very comfortable, great flat screen tv, modern coffeee maker. Bathroom again very modern and looked new, big stand in shower. Despite how busy the hotel was - we weren't disturbed in the morning and the room was always cleaned to a very high standard.
We had breakfast in the hotel which was reasonably priced. There was the usual buffet, food was hot plus there was a great selection of muffins and breads. The service at breakfast could have been friendlier, we sometimes felt like we were in the way or were asking too much for more tea or coffee - but a minor issue.
The hotel has a terrace bar at the front just opposite Hyde Park. Queensways and Bayswater tube stations not far away...all in all a great stay and we have booked to return again in a few weeks.

Stayed here for three nights and had a great experience. Location is awesome. Hyde Park area is a nice area to be around and is close to the tourist areas but a little quieter. Tube stations close by for any direction. Room was clean and spacious and service was always nice. Only downside was the WiFi. Had to keep entering a code and get a new one every 24hrs.

Room was fine, however the bathroom stunk of sewage after every shower, tap and toilet use (not self generated). Reported it to the front desk where I received a nonchalant oh and continued on with their day. Hopefully they did something about it because it was quite foul. Also the shower drain backed up as well.
