“Couldn't fault this hotel if I tried....”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 26, 2013 via mobile

Stayed here for three days from Friday to check-out on Monday. We were welcomed very early on Friday and were very pleased to get a room at once. Pleasant smiling reception staff proved to be the norm. ALL the staff were attentive and friendly throughout our stay.

The room was excellent (yes, there was black wood, but tastefully done with high quality materials......We liked it). Breakfast was included in our option. We tried and recommend both the "full healthy" and the "full English". Excellent both of them and really set us up for the day.

Location would be difficult to improve on. Vibrant and lively Queensway, Notting Hill and Westbourne Grove within walking distance and if you want to go further afield the Circle, District and Central lines are all within three minutes walk at Bayswater and Queensway Underground.

Thanks to all the staff for a very pleasant stay. We recommend this place to anyone and we will certainly be back.

“Make this your first choice.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

Stayed here Feb 22nd-24th. First impressions were fabulous, very well kept and clean.

Arrival and check-in:
Reception area is the first thing to wow you, from the open fire to the staffs uniforms, all very modern yet 'different'. Staff warm and welcoming, let us check in 30 mins early, no problem.

Room:
Yes the rooms are on the small side but this is described on the website, but personally i have stayed in smaller.. There was walking spac around the bed, a desk and chair and a armchair, not cramped at all, tea and coffee making facilities fridge and sink. Large shower with underfloor heating which is great on a cold morning! Wardrobe space more than adequate, with safe! Four poster bed, DAB radio, lovely touch-sensitive lights, plenty or plug sockets/charging points, large tv with freeview, heating/aircon easy to use. Bed was turned down while we were out and water and chocolates brought into the room. Best shower i have ever had in a hotel, rainfall shower with hand held aswell, gets really hot too!

Service:
Staff attentive and friendly, smiley and genuine! Ask them for anything and it is not a problem.

Location:
Located one street off Bayswater Road (running alongside Hyde Park), Bayswater is the nearest Tube stop which is the green line, its around a 20-30 mins walk to Marble Arch. Took us 40 Mins but we strolled slowly with a coffee! From centre of London (Drury lane/Covent garden) it cost us £13 in a taxi back. Few good pubs around the area and lots of lovely restaurants. If you want to be at the centre of nightlife of sights don't stay here, if you want a nice hotel, in a lovely convenient location stay here!

Food:
Didn't eat there so cant comment. But seemed a decent price!

Overall if you want a five star hotel but don't plan on spending a mass amount if time in your room book this place! I imagine the better the room the more space your going to get!

Room Tip: Room 25 and 24 have 'back garden' type views and are rather low. If you want a nice view upg...

“Contemporary and very nice”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

Just back from a three night stay at this hotel. We found it a bit strange at first, difficult to find doors etc as hallways very dark and in keeping with the theme of the hotel your way wasn't clearly marked, this did not take from the hotel at all. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious, the best inclusive breakfast I personally have had in a hotel. Very well located close to two tube stations and within walking distance from Portobello, Notting Hill & Hyde Park. Rooms were small but sufficient, bathroom & shower delightful. Overall we were delighted to have chosen this hotel.

“Service Good, Rooms Small”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 27, 2013

We stayed at the La Suite West just for one night.
The service on arrival was excellent. On inspecting our room it was very small but due to being on the basement level we could hear the underground.
We requested to move and the staff were very happy to move us to a higher room.

The beds were comfy and room facilities good.

We would stay again as location was good with underground walking distance and with a small walk Oxford Street.

Room Tip: Above ground floor and facing the street.

“Well posh!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2013 via mobile

It was really nice and the staff were lovely. The room was really comfortable and spacious. Bathroom was lovely with underfloor heating and the shower was amazing. Felt like a waterfall on your head :) the restaurant was nice but not what I expected from reading the website.. The food was tasty and reasonably priced but not in keeping with the quality of the hotel.. Would use again.
