“5* Hotel, 5* Experience, Good advance rates outside peak season, Treat yourself at least once”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

A nice bit of luxury in London, but not at an extreme price, recommend you try this hotel.

Easy access from LHR, Tube on Piccadilly Line to Hyde Park tube station within 100 metres, cost only 5.50gbp and took just 40 minutes. Probably much quicker than by a taxi or limo from LHR T4 to IC Park Lane.

Easy checkin and checkout, no problems with bill, etc. courteous, professional, knowledgable, smartly dressed doormen, concierge, front desk, lounge staff. Staff are a part of what make any hotel stay 5* experience.

At checkin you can ask to add Club Lounge access to your bill, really worth adding Lounge if breakfast is not included in your room rate and if not making a late checkin/early checkout on your stay, lounge access priced per room, so doubly good value for couples. The inclusive breakfast in lounge offsets some of the access cost.

Had really nice 8th floor 1bed suite. Nice toiletries, nice flat screen tv in both bedroom and lounge room of suite. Nice comy bed, pillows etc, i slept very well, no noise intrusion either day or night.
Good choice of TV channels, SkySports, ESPN etc which I enjoyed. Good work desk, plenty of power points, fast enough wifi.

Lounge had very good buffet breakfast choices, followed at 5.30pm by canapes with drinks, including moet champagne.
Lovely view from 7th floor lounge over St James/Green parks and Hyde park corner. Lounge staff very attentive.

Will definitely be staying again if I can get a similar low-season rate(s), I will also include lounge as long as staying the full day, else better off spending lounge upgrade monies in the hotel restaurant.

Room Tip: High Floor 7 if have club lounge, else top floor 8, ask for "Park View"

I got a great deal on this hotel through LastMinute.com and so I thought it was great value. The location is perfect and the rooms are a good size. Staff attentive and cheerful. Only bug bear is the bar prices - seemed expensive even for a hotle of this quality.
When I stayed there was a lote of renovation going on on the outside of the hotel, which didn't affect the stay at all just made the entrance to the hotel hard to find!

Recently stayed here for five days.
First, I was booked at the lowest rate available and so I wasn't sure what to expect room size-wise. It was fine. Very comfortable for 5 days.
Very up-to-date/modern. Very clean throughout
Service was very high standard.
Gym was pretty good. Treadmills, bikes, machines.
Less than 10 minute taxi from Paddington Station (Heathrow Express)
Great location. Right at Hyde Park. 10 min walk to Harrod's, Belgrave Sq. St James, Buckingham Palace. In the midst of Mayfair.
Overall, very nice.

This was an excellent choice of hotels in the center of London. Great quiet location facing Hyde Park and Green Park, walking distance to major attractions, just a 5 minute walk to Hyde Park Tube and 10 minute walk to Green Park Tube. Lobby is very modern, nice bar to wind down with a drink at the end of the night. Very clean room, but the bathroom is quite small. Concierge and front desk was always very helpful. Turn down service was nice. The only downside is that WiFi here is very expensive. No free wifi in the lobby either. So instead of having breakfast at hotel, every morning we would go to Starbucks or Pret a Manger nearby to get a cheaper breakfast and free wifi service.

I've stayed here many times over the last 20 years, and seem to be there twice a year or so. Attention to detail and service-mindedness keeps this place above most of the Piccadilly/Hyde Park area hotels.

Very comfortable beds & very quiet atmosphere definitely makes this a place to return to.

Room Tip: I prefer the rooms that face the inner courtyard for their quiet.

We had the pleasure to stay four nights in this Hotel and enjoyed every minute! We stayed on the seventh floor next to the Intercontinental Club Lounge! The staff of the Club Lounge, food and ambiance were all fabulous!! Also the Chambermaids were never seen but our room was cleaned on a daily basis with a very efficient "turn down srvice" in the evening! We enjoyed reading the different Bedtime stories:-) The consistent presence of doormen, porters and great concierges should also be given a great compliment! All in all a great Hotel on a great location with many warm and friendly staff!
Look forward to returning again!

The staff were extremely friendly throughout the hotel. I got an early morning flight into London and unlike other hotels, we didn't have to wait for a room, even though we arrived really early in the morning on our check in day. Similarly, the hotel did not have a check out time and we were able to leave our luggage with the hotel concierge for as long as we wanted after checking out. The concierge staff was extremely helpful in terms of giving us directions on where to go and what to do.

Our room was newly renovated, clean and well stocked.
