“Friendly service, good location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 26, 2013

Stayed here for three nights on a short trip to London. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We had an executive room which came with free breakfast (in the executive lounge) and a free bottle of water in the room each day. No free WIFi in the hotel but you can roam with Boingo and but it's possible to get online (for free) on desktops in the executive lounge.

It's easy to access the Central (if I remember correctly) or Hammersmith and Circle lines by 10 minutes walk. You do have to cross a busy road to get to the hotel but there are ramps. If you're a fan of walking, you can walk to Hyde Park and many other locations although it takes a while to do so.

The Westfield mall nearby offers shopping and a cinema. Note that the hotel is not in the central part of Kensington but access by underground or bus is easy.

The hotel is inadequate compared to that of a Travelodge. I booked this hotel thinking it would be a nice treat for my partner to stay in an expensive hotel in London when actually it was half the quality of any other hotel I have stayed at yet was triple the cost. Do yourselves a favour and stay at a cheaper Travelodge or holiday inn , you get better quality, more complimentary items and friendlier staff.

It was my mom's and I first time in London. I am so glad I picked this hotel!! The staff were so friendly and nice! If you had questions about how to get anywhere or wanted to go on tours the staff helped you. The hotel was very clean. I had two beds in my room that were pushed together which wasn't bad. Not a lot of room, but there was at least room for about 3 suitcases. We had a nice tv, mini bar that was stocked. I LOVE THIS HOTEL!! If I do get to come back to London, I'll stay here again!!

The location is in a good neighborhood. The Tube was just about a 5 minute walk. If you stay a week and plan on using the Tube to get around London. I would suggest getting an Oyster card. It cost about 35-37 British pounds, but it was worth it!! Its good for the tube and buses too. Considering I rode the Tube a lot and it saved me time instead of riding the bus. You get 5 British pounds back once the card is returned. If you don't have a lot of time, I wouldn't bother with the sightseeing buses. I did that and my whole day was mostly wasted on waiting for the tour bus to show up. But if you do want to do the bus tour, they stop right in front of the hotel.

2nd visit to this hotel. great location for visiting london. 5 mins from sheperds bush underground & overground, bus depot. the westfield mall is also very near with lots of shops & restaurants.
room is a bit small but very clean. bar food is reasonable. holland park area is nice neighbourhood. on previous visit here we had good meals in local restaurants.
if you get a good rate this place is good base when visiting london.

This was the terrible experience unfortunately. Not believe that this hotel has the quality standard for facility, service, and foods & beverage as global 'Hilton Group'. Suggested by colleagues for close location to the meeting place, but bad idea.

My family spent 1 night here recently after a long day flying from USA. I spent a lot of time in the area when I used to live in London, so it was nice for me to retrace some steps. Its close to Notting Hill and Kensington, although as other reviewers have pointed out, its not exactly central, but for me it wasn't a problem. Subways, shopping and restaurants are less than 5 mins walk. Room booked was a suite, but was kind of small, but there again its London and there were several of us!! I don't remember anything bad about the room, or for that matter memorable, but was perfectly comfortable. I would definitely not recommend a car as parking is expensive in the lot, and not much on street parking.

This was our second stay at this property and we were not disappointed. The Shepherds Bush tube stop and the Westfield Shopping Center are an easy walk. A great surrounding neighborhood. The service we received at reception was quick and efficient. The staff was very helpful in facilitating the transfer of our luggage from another hotel (If you need anything, talk to Ali at the concierge desk)The rooms are smallish so I would recommend spending a few extra pounds for access to the roomy and well equipped Executive Lounge which is located on the first floor. You get free breakfast in the morning, snacks during the day and cocktails in the evening plus free internet.
