“Excellent hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 24, 2012

We paid about $125 AUD and only stayed for one night but wished we stayed longer. Received complimentary upgrade to bigger room on arrival and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, spacious and had plenty of features/amenities, bed was comfortable and we had a view of a small park out the window. Best of all, it was only a 10-minute walk to the St. Pancras International train station. Highly recommended.

Here on business so the value is open to query at £135 a night but seeing a I didn't pay put that to one side. The rooms are adequate for one, who needs the extra space to swing a cat in after all? Very clean everywhere ad staff very attentive. Breakfast staff were quick to take used items and replace cutlery quickly too without having to ask (thank you Fanni). My favourite part of breakfast was the room and lighting. My eyes were not dazzled by bright lights and it had an evening meal feel initially. In summary comfy bed, great shower, clean and good breakfast to start the day.

This hotel is 2 minutes walk from Kings Cross train station, just past Euston station as the name sugguests. We were very impressed with the service on reception and friendlyness and efficientness of all staff we came into contact with. Our room was very spacious and clean with a large bathroom with bath and shower. The breakfast was lovely and plentyfull, which is whats needed to set you up for a days shopping in the capital. We have stayed at this hotel twice as it is exceptional value for money and mid week they do special deals on 2 or 3 nights stays. Hoping to return in december for a bit of christmas shopping.

It is a good place to stay if you are going to be around Euston. The reception area is spacious and gives out a very pleasant feeling. Staff are all very friendly and willing to help. The room I had (203) is a bit small and in a corner but the toilet (Shower) is BIG and very nice. Overall, very clean and pleasant. Will stay again

We chose this hotel for location - near Euston and a short walk to Camden. From the outside we were getting worried about our choice, but inside it is beautiful. Rooms spacious, comfortable and well appointed. Large clean lobby, nice bar area and a free coffee area.
The staff were unbelievably friendly, even the concierge when he was surrounded by groups all wanting to leave bags.
If in the area again I would have no hesitation but to stay here again. Top job Thistle.

Room Tip: Ask for one overlooking the park, but all are quiet

Stayed here whilst exploring sites in London. Whilst the hotel doesn't look all that salubrious from the outside the inside more than makes up for it. Reception area is clean cut and the staff friendly and efficient.

The elevators that take you to your chosen floor are exceptionally tidy and spotless, which more or less was the overall opinion on the whole hotel.

We stayed in an Executive suite. The rooms are a good size and to be honest they need to be if you book the Executive with the 76inch wide King size bed. The bed is an absolute goliath of a beast and comfy as hell. Room has sofa's, tables, adequate wardrobe space and 42" Philips Ambi-light TV, cofee and tea making facilities, mini bar and a very well equipped bathroom.

Sleep quality is excellent with no noise pollution at all.

Breakfast was superb with plenty on offer from continental to full English, plenty of fruit juice's tea coffee cereals etc etc.

Overall this hotel will not disappoint. Service was excellent, location excellent, rooms excellent and easily one of the cleanest 4* Hotels about .What more can I say.

Room Tip: Executive Room if you can afford the extra cash

Stayed for 2 nights at this great hotel. Nothing was too much for them. Providing an umbrella for my wife to turning on the other telly in the bar just for me to watch the footy. Lovely food, lovely staff and the biggest bed I've ever seen. Will use again. 3 mins from Euston station.

Room Tip: What ever you ask for they will try to please.
