filthy dirty and a huge health hazzard. sleep in the street it would be safer!! couldn't find anything that was clean or working properly. even the windows were nailed shut.! never had any bath towels but the hand towels we had were cleanish. telephone was covered in blood, every surface was covered in dust and god only knows what the carpet was covered in. stay away at all costs.

Great location for Oxford Street and bus stop just outside, that's the good points. We stayed in the annex down the road for one night. Our room was up 6 flights of steep stairs on the third floor, there was no fire escape. and the fire exit downstairs out the back door was blocked with laundry. All the doors were real heavy to open and slammed shut, very noisy at night There was no phone even though the in case of fire card said dial 0 to report fire to reception. We would not use the over the bed light as on the wall above where black marks like smoke damage. There was no tea and coffee or kettle in room. Could not use shower as water did not drain away, could not wash in sink as no plug. The foot of the bed had a metal bar missing which had sharp points. The window did open which allowed fresh air in (much needed). We were woken at 5am by someone trying to unlock our door with a set of keys (guest only received a key on a plastic keyring) so was not a guest, this happened a couple of times that night. Husband complained when checking out, he got a shrug and blank look as if we were making it up. The room and furniture were dirty.

Room Tip: book another hotel

Not the most luxurious, or nicest hotels in london. The rooms are very basic and in need of major refurbishment it feels more like a hostel but i dont think you can get a better location in london for the price. Its within walking distance of Euston, Tottenham Court Rd and Oxford street, seconds from the british museum and was even a short walk from londons nightlife in leicester sq/picadilly. If your after great location and are only using it as a place to rest at night as we did it is perfect for the price but if your after a nice hotel with your partner its a definate no.

If staying for a short stay, this is well connected due to Tube station which is just 10 minutes walking. The single rooms are for people of no more then 5 feet height. Never carry additional bag as there is no space to fit. A bit of compromise with the size of the toilet. If you get the front rooms then you are safe, if you get inner rooms or at basement side , then as for god's company, read books as the palm size TV will be too complicated to manage. The in room amenities are good with Coffee maker & good number of sachets.

Room Tip: always ask for the front rooms......you might get a sunshine to wake you up !!

This is a very good location just round the corner from Oxford street and tube. As long as you not expecting anything too fancy it was fine. Beds were clean and comfortable and the bathroom was clean.

It was very tired and needed some decoration, and its quite noisy at night but we expected that.

We only stayed the one night on a theatre trip and it was fine.

Reading the reviews here, I was a bit scared when I arrived. Fortunately, the reviews are exaggerating. But maybe I was lucky. I asked to let me take a look at the room before checking in and paying the bill, and without hesitation, they handed me the key to go upstairs and look around. Ok, the place could use some new furniture and some paint, but for a place to sleep, it's good enough if don't have high standards. I stayed for 4 nights, in a single room, facing Bloomsbery street, with shower and toilet in the corridor. This is the weakest part of the deal. The toilet and shower is separated only with a shower courtain. It would need lots of touch up work, but it was clean every day. The room was clean too, the walls painted maybe 2 years ago (little more maybe). Shure the furniture was old, and looked bad, but I had no use for it anyway. There were no bugs, but the matterss sould be replaced, because it had a huge lowering in the middle. I could sleep well tough. The staff was nice enough, tried to answer all my questions the best they can. So if you're young, low on budget, or just want to allocate more money to have fun in the city than have a pretty place to stay, and want to stay as close to the center, sights, Soho, and the nightlife and you have no problem with bad looking furniture, go ahead. any other hotel in the area is 2-3 times more exspensive. The location is superb! The location is superb! Again, all the above is my experience, with one room! (in my opinion it's more like a YouthHostel than a Hotel)

Room Tip: I had a single room facing Bloomsbury street, with all the windows closed it was quiet enough.

The Tube is cleaner, more quite than this hotel.... Seriously, The floor is dirty, the bed is so old it makes noise when you turn during the night, no wifi, no breakfast, only one channel at the tv, no remote controle and the screen is big as a stamps, ... Go away....
