stayed 23 Jan 2013. having read the reviews prior to our stay. we were a little concerned to say the least. Having stayed at this hotel on 2 previous occasions 2012,2011. We did think of cancelling our stay, but gave the hotel the benefit of the doubt.
I am glad that we did, on arrival at reception we were greeted as usual by very pleasant staff.
Who then informed us that there was building works in progress and we were given a room on the newly refurbished 5th floor. If the remainer of the hotel is to be finished to the standard as the 5th floor. There is no concerns at all, the rooms are delightful. Very nicely finished, to a high standard.
Breakfast was plentiful and very well presented.
So no complaints from us. In our opinion the hotel was even better this year and we will return.

Folks there are a few bad reviews here - well I checked in yesterday and had a well appointed room on the lower ground floor. Okay there was a bit of noise as they were having a bit of refurb but they apologised in advance. There is a small gym. I had a business meeting there and was well looked after by a man called,Das who even brought some pastries with our coffees. Bathroom excellent - bed excellent - security excellent. Nice bar which I didn't use. Most importantly staff were so friendly. I will definately stay here again and booked with Expedia for £57 ..... Bargain

Stayed 4 nights. First the good points - they were helpful with early check-in, free wired broadband in the room and the buffet breakfast was quite good. However, this was overshadowed by the extremely small room provided in a separate building 50 metres away (walk through the morning rain for breakfast - or if the magnetic card isn't working, walk down to the reception!!) which had one lift that was inoperational on 3 mornings. There was a desk, which didn't have sufficient place for a laptop unless the TV or kettle was removed. I can't remember having stayed in a smaller room ever. Upon checking into the room, realised the hot water wasn't working in the shower, so called reception and they sent the repair man over fairly promptly - he came and went a couple of times before managing to fix it - although had no qualms in dirtying the floor of the bathroom with his work shoes and left it like that - advising me on the way out to switch off the water (while I was trying it out). Next realised there were no toiletries - another call to the reception and they refused to believe these weren't kept in the toilet - sent some across eventually. They promised 2 bottles of mineral water gratis, but took them 2 days and constant reminders to finally provide this. Asked them if they could arrange an umbrella - but not possible. They also charge the full amount up-front, and since I was out almost all day, just abandoned any hope of changing hotel. But never staying at this place again. Avoid if possible.

Hi enjoyed our break in London always go to this Hotel when we Visit Earls Court Handy for the Tube and lots of pubs and Restaurants near by, had a Great stay was in Club Room couldnt Fault it, thanks again
