We just had a great stay at the Milestone Hotel in London. Although we arrived in the middle of the night, we were greeted warmly and called by name before we could introduce ourselves. We were checked in quickly and provided with our favorite cocktail before we were given a brief tour of the hotel. We were escorted to our room and given every comfort of home. The next morning most of the staff greeted us by name. The hospitality was truly remarkable. We had an excellent dinner in the hotel resturant, try it for yourself.

We would stay there again and would recommend The Milestone to anyone.

I stayed at the Milestone Hotel with my two daughters (23 and 17). The hotel is exceptional. All of the staff went out of their way to please us. Our room was beautiful and very comfortable. We were suprised each night with a different edible treat on our pillows. On top of that the hotel supplied a complementary bottle of water on each night stand. In our bathroom our housekeeper lit a candle by our bathtub...it would have been very romantic had my husband been with me. The bathrooms have a special light that stays on at night so that you can find the bathroom but it is not intrusive in the room while you are trying to sleep.. I was in the hotel business for many years and have been privy to some very special experiences but the Milestone tops the list . We also loved the views of Kensington Park out of our window. Breakfast was wonderful and the staff very accommodating. The hotel is close to the tube. The Milestone hotel understand the word HOSPITALITY and puts it into play!

My friend and I along with both our mom's sent the weekend at this hotel for a theatre break. Our original hotel The Rubens had overbooked us and transferred us at their expense to their sister hotel The Milestone, where credit to The rubens champagne awaited our arrival. The Milestone is in my opinion a superior hotel with excellent staff who can't do enough for you. The cleanliness and surrounds are also 5star quality and the staff enabled us to have a very enjoyable weekend. I would definately stay there again.

My husband and I just returned from an all too brief stay at The Milestone Hotel. Our stay could not have been better. We basked in the public room with tea and scones, and enjoyed Terry, the Butler, and his fascinating stories. The staff is most friendly and solicitous-- eager to fulfill your every request with great charm and alacrity. The decor is lovely, and the bedroom and lounges are most comfortable. Very atmospheric. The bath was wonderful, and my husband is still talking about the shower. All sorts of small amenities are provided in one's room. The breakfast at the hotel was delightful. The location is just across the street from Kensington Palace, and the gardens, very close to a Tube stop and to many excellent restaurants. We enjoyed the hotel so much that we plan to return with our children at Christmas to stay in one of the Milestone apartments. I understand they go all out, including a Christmas tree, stockings, and a visit from Santa. I think it might be delightful to just sit around at the Milestone sipping tea or sherry by the fire...it's a lovely place to relax, and perhaps a destination in itself.
