“Enjoyed my overnight stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

I enjoyed my stay here even though we were only there for one night. We have a two year old boy so the most important thing is that he is comfortable and that was the case. The breakfast was impressive.

We enjoyed this hotel. Our room was clean comfortable & quiet. Nice size too. The breakfast buffet was great!!!! So many hot and cold selections. It came with the price we paid. Good easy location to get where you wanted to go to. There was a pub to the right that was very close can't recall the name but great for fish n chips! We would book here again and can't wait to go back to London a fun and beautiful city!

Dear Guest,

Thank you for your kind words and taking the time to place a review on TripAdvisor. My team and I were delighted to read you had a great stay.

Next time, don’t forget to dine at our Minako restaurant, situated on 23rd floor of the Tower wing and offers fantastic view of the city. The pan-Asian cuisine is delicious and I am certain that you will thoroughly be pleased with the experience.

Thanks again for your review and come back soon.

Kind regards,

We stayed here for 2 nights 18th- 20th Oct. We had a great stay, very comfortable room on the 17th floor. Fabulous views over London. It was in a good location for everything we wanted. Underground station less than 2 mins away, good bus links outside the hotel and Paddington 5mins away. Breakfast had a huge choice something for everyone, could do with being hotter. Good bars and amenities. The hotel was very busy whilst we were there and staff coped well. Check in took a very long time and considering how much we paid I feel wife should be free all over the hotel. Our room could of also done with a deep clean and makeover a little tired in places. Would recommend this hotel for its location but there are better hotels and cheaper around.

Dear Guest,

Thank you for taking the time to write us a review on TripAdvisor. We really do appreciate all the feedback that our guests leave us, as it helps us to improve our products and services.

We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the fabulous views that our rooms in the Tower Wing include. However, it is disappointing to hear that you found the hotel tired in places. We have recently refurbished our West Wing, in which all the rooms have been revamped to maximise the space, and ensure the room is much more comfortable. We are planning on refurbishing our Tower Wing next, and we hope to have the same positive feedback from our guests as we have after our West Wing.

Again, thank you for taking the time to write is a review, and thank you for recommending us to others. We look forward to welcoming you back to the Hilton London Metropole in the near future.

Kind regards,

Patrick Kenny

We choose this hotel because of its value for money and location. Once we arrived we have to queue in a long line to get a room key. The next morning we had the queue again to eat breakfast. However our room was very spacious and very clean. The concierge was always kind, greeted us at the door and got us a taxi whenever needed.

I recently stayed at the Hilton Metropole for most of a week. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from to Paddington Station, which is a 15 minute express train from London Heathrow. Note that there is another Hilton right inside Paddington station if you want to be right at the station. The neighborhood did not appear to be the best. There were not a lot of options for restaurants outside the hotel. There were quite a few Arabic restaurants, but beyond that a Greek and an Indian nearby and a large pub down the block, plus a McDonalds and a Burger King. There were a few various places for breakfast, especially if you walked down to Paddington Station.

Check-in was always quite busy, but seemed pretty efficient. The people at the desk were pleasant. The hotel was a bit drab and dated. There was a large 1st floor are with a bar and a small sports bar that served food. Really there was just one main restaurant. Food was OK, not great. The breakfast was underwhelming, especially given the price (£17). The room was just OK. It had the necessities, but nothing more. The shower area in my bath had some water damage and the setup of the shower (1/2 glass wall, partly detached from the bathroom wall).

I did get the executive floor that had privileges at the executive lounge. The free breakfast there was nearly as good as the paid breakfast downstairs, minus the hot dishes (no big loss). There's a nice afternoon tea as well. The lounge was the high point of the hotel.

I did not get a chance to use the pool, though it looked nice. There is a very small health club that got a bit crowded.

I very much enjoyed my stay at the Hilton London Metropole. The room was clean and comfortable, albeit small with a limited view. The location is a 15-20 minute walk from Marble Arch and Hyde Park and several Tube stations for easy access to much of London. It is also a 5-minute walk to London Paddington Station for regular and reliable service to Heathrow Airport. The staff were courteous and helpful. The hotel lobby and restaurants are far more modern following an extensive renovation. Highly recommended!

Room Tip: Free wifi in lobby but costs extra in rooms (except Executive Level)

I am very pleased to hear that you were happy with your recent stay at the Hilton London Metropole.

On your next stay why not try out our Livingwell health club where we have an indoor pool, steam room, sauna, and gym. Also we have a great restaurant Minako on the 23rd floor, where you can enjoy delicious pan-Asian cuisine with beautiful views of London.

Once again thank you for your great comments and I hope to see you back to the Hilton London Metropole.

Firstly the location is great. On Edgeware road with the Bakerloo and circle line across the road which can take you anywhere. Check in was a breeze and we were given advice about the restaurant seats in their 23rd floor Asian fusion restaurant. Entrance has a chocolate shop with samples every day. You walked through here and the aroma was brill. Visited a few times. Also had a whisky shop with whisky from around the world. I tried a "flight" with whisky from America, India and Japan. Great stuff. The Asian restaurant had "to die for" views across London. A bit pricey but worth the treat. We booked a suite which had 2 double beds, sofa bed, 2 TV's. The lighting was lovely and the room very quiet. Bathroom lovely and big with loads of towels and soaps. Breakfast was also a real treat. They had pork, chicken and vegetarian sausage. Waffles, cakes and the usual other things. Juice, Tea and Coffee were plentiful and kept us going till late afternoon. I would highly recommend this place.

Room Tip: We asked for high and quiet.
