“Good enough”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

I stopped overnight whilst seeing a show. One person on reception with 30+ people coming off a coach is not really good enough - efficient though she was.
The staff were friendly and efficient and I have no horror stories. I would stay again overnight but would probably not stay for longer than one or two nights as it did seem very impersonal and the room a bit basic

Room Tip: The higher the better to keep the noise to a minimum

As a Gold Hilton member I have stayed in lots of Hiltons and this is by far the worst. Our room was old and worn. There were crisp crumbs on the floor and hair in the bathroom. The room was small and uninviting. There is a good gym and the location is very convenient to the city and public transport. We walked with our luggage to Paddington station with no problems. We told a staff member what we were doing and he offered to get us a car for 60 pound to Heathrow. We have used car services before and never paid more than 40 pounds so wondered what this offer was about. The trip on the Heathrow express cost 41 pounds and had us there in 15 minutes. The breakfast caters to hundreds of people and it is chaotic with staff showing frustration in dealing with the numbers.

We had a lovely stay here at the Hilton, it's a very busy place, location next to the Edgware Rd station is so convenient, but it would have been nicer if the room was the same standard as the Foyer. The heating doesn't work in the room and it was warmer just to turn everything off.

Room Tip: Ask for a King room as it gives Free access to the Executive Lounge, free WiFi from the Lounge and i...

Couldn't fault this hotel for service cleanliness and the selection of breakfast was excellent ,would recommend it ,and would stay there again ,I had a spacious room with a huge bed no complaints on my part ,

Room Tip: I was on my own but had a double room for a supplement ,I wasn't disappointed ,

I stayed at this hotel while I was in London, I stayed for two nights with my wife.
The hotel was easy to find and is very near the tube station.

Checking in took 25 minutes which for the time of day I did not think was too bad.
The room had a fantastic view of London however it had a strange smell in the room each time you opened the door.

The room was clean however it did need some paint on the window sill and the back of the toilet door. The bath panel need to re placed as well as the sealant around the bath as this was black in places and not white.
The bed is a super king size which was really nice.
The walls were thin and you could hear people in other rooms and you could listen to the programmes they were watching at night.

There was not a chest of drawers in the room but there was a big wardrobe with an ironing board and iron, there was also a safe in the room.

The swimming pool was found on the second floor which was nice, along with the gym. They also had a steam room which was also good.

We never ate at the hotel which was a shame.

The check out took longer than expected, 20 minutes which was far too long as we checked out an hour before the rush. They just were very slow.

Not sure if I would stay again.

This is my favorite hotel in London. Have stayed here more than 30 times. The rooms are good in size & very clean. I always got upgraded to west wing. The breakfast is good too. The restaurants is food but little expensive. I wish I can stay again here soon.

Room Tip: Take room in west wing. Specially rooms end with 92 & 99. Example 999 or 1092

Regular hotel for me - really handy for Paddington station and invariably great staff. Great new lounge area just inside the Lobby. Sports bar fantastic for watching whatever is on at the time - particularly when on ones own.
