“great place to stay.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2013

We stayed at the Millenium in Knightbridge last saturday night{19th January}. We had a fantastic stay, couldnt fault it at all. The room was very nice with a bed that was the most comfortable i have ever slept in, i must say i liked the touch of our bed being turned down ready for us in the evening and the little chocolate on the bedside was a lovely touch. The meal we had in Le Chinois was excellent, enjoyed every mouthfull, and the breakfast was superb too. We will definitely be back, very soon i hope.

Room Tip: We had a room on the second floor, as i dont like using lifts. It was easily accessed by the stairs.

Dear Max444Liverpool,
Thank-you for commenting about your stay with us. I am glad that you enjoyed your stay and I can appreciate that the prime location of Knightsbridge is more expensive than other areas. However, depending on the seasons, the room rates change and therefore you might find better deals.
We will be definitely looking forward to welcome you back at the Millennium Hotel London Knightsbridge.
Kind Regards
Jean-Baptiste Noel

Just minutes from Knightsbridge underground station, Harvey Nicholls and Harrods, the Millennium's location is hard to beat. We had a Secret Escapes deal and certainly would not have wanted to pay anything close to the rack rate. The hotel is comfortable but not special - smallish bedroom with a tiny en-suite. The staff are really good - friendly, polite and efficient. Downstairs bar lacks any sort of atmosphere but is a good enough place to have a quick drink while waiting to be picked up for dinner with friends. Breakfast was fine if the cooked buffet was a little dried out. Hotel parking is £45 which is about par for this part of London. Our deal included a glass of Prosecco each which was good for 3 of us but not for the fourth who cannot drink sparkling wine - no chance of trading the deal - Prosecco or nothing.

Perfectly located on Sloane St next to Tube and behind Harrods. Got a great deal through secret escapes for a saturday night. Staff were friendly, service was excellent and rooms very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend if you aren't looking for the luxury spa treatment etc..

Was pleased not to have paid their advertised rack rate of £226 per night as we had a great deal on Secret Escapes and saved ourselves a £100 a night. The hotel is in a fantastic location. The room was of average size but the bathroom was tiny with a very short bath and rather nasty discoloured grouting between the tiles. The soundproofing between the rooms and through the windows is diabolical and there is a very disconcerting running water noise most of the time. The beds are fairly hard and the pillows are dreadful. We had the Club House breakfast included in our deal and it was really quite good with plenty of choice and decent coffee. Also lots of boy racers in their highpowered sports cars driving at speed till the early hours! Wouldn't stay here again.

I am pleased to read that you feel you received a good offer and that our location and breakfast were to your likiing. Your feedback in regard to the noise levels have been noted, as with the maintenance issues.

I am sorry that you did not find our new mattresses and pillows to your comfort.

Stayed at the hotel for 3 nights on a business trip. I left my iPad on the bed the day I checked out early on the 5th of Dec and called the hotel back at 11am to ask whether it was found only to be told that they will call me back. Of course they never did. After my meetings and before my flight I went back to the hotel to ask about my iPad but again I was amazed how terrible the service was and how relaxed the manager was about the whole disappearance of the iPad....I would advise travellers to watch their belongings at the Millennium Knightsbridge closely if they choose to stay there. I can go on and on about the unbelievably small size of the rooms and the degraded state of the bathrooms and furniture in a so rated 4 star hotel....I will never stay there again!!!!

Stayed here for 40th anniversary. Room directly opposite Waitrose loading bays with noise of vans loading all night long. Certainly didn't feel refreshed in morning. Would never stay here again. Little in way of apology from staff next morning.

Room Tip: Ensure room does not face Waitrose depot
