I was pleased with the area,not to busy.Nice and close to the underground.The rooms were well equipped,it even had a microwave.Breakfast was good.The only thing that was a little disappointing,was the pull out bed was not very comfortable.

I looked at the pictures of the hotel and also read the reviews. Many complained about small rooms but the pictures on the website looked fine to me. DO NOT BELIEVE THEM. The room allocated to me was 6ft x 8ft. It is the smallest hotel room I have ever had the misfortune to stay in. The pictures of the hotel totally misrepresent the rooms. To cap it all, the TV did not work. The room was so small that I had to step out of the room while the TV engineer went in to try to fix the TV. You have been warned!

I was shown to a room in the hotel (same company) just around the corner which was apparently an upgrade, which of course I was pleased about. I'd heard that the rooms can be small in the 'main hotel' (through Tripadvisor). It was great! Really well designed and good use of space. It wasn't small and was very comfortable. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. I shall always stay here when I'm up in town for the evening.

After being moved here from the Shaftesbury Hyde Park Intnl becuase this was full (I called to day before arrival to double check the booking being told everything was ok) we were "welcomed" by two less than friendly receptionists. They managed to check us in though, and after finding our way through a maze (what will happen if there's a fire is beyond me) we found our TINY rooms. The standard is ok though with basically everything you need in a room. Problem is it's so small and the only place big enough to open your suitcase is if you lay it on the bed. All in all, I would not recommend this hotel or the Shaftesbury chain (based on two hotels/overall service).
