I really enjoyed this hotel, the location was just perfect and the room was ery clean and nice. Only thing i hated was the housekeeping who woke us up 2 days in a row by knocking on the door even though we had a 'do not disturb' sign on the door

Booked this hotel for its location as we needed somewhere to stay near St Thomas hospital. This hotel is about 10 minutes walk away along Lambeth road and when you get to the bridge you turn right and you are virtually on the doorstep.
We managed to get a parking space as we arrived on a sunday evening but the car park isn't very big.
Asked for quiet rooms and got them. The rooms were very clean and the bed was comfortable.
We had full english breakfast the following morning as on check in we were given discount vouchers so it cost us the same as continental breakfast.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. Have to say that the duty manager Zaya was very helpful as we had to book and cancel rooms at short notice.
Would definitely stay here again as it is so close to Westminster bridge and all the locations nearby and if I returned as a female single traveller would feel very safe.

Stayed there for one night this month. Hotel is adequate and not as overpriced as many London hotels. Close to Lambeth North Tube. The breakfast room(s) are cramped but the breakfast is included in the price - just don't go in there at the time all the business travellers are eating, you may have a wait! Breakfast is good and is a buffet style, better than a good many hotels I have been in. Room was clean and comfortable and the hotel staff were reasonable helpful. Drawback is traffic noise from outside the hotel. It's on a cross roads and the traffic is going all night. Add to that the police station across the road and there can be frequent sirens. I was on the 4th floor, the windows were double glazed and I was woken up many times during the night.

I mentioned this at check out and the reception told that they were installing additional glazing, but were starting at the 5th floor and advised me to ask for " a quiet room" the next time. I would go to this hotel again as it was largely good, but it would have to be a "quiet room"

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet room

I kidded my colleagues that this was a five star hotel. Of course it isn't, but the rooms were clean, comfortable and the service at reception was friendly and efficient.

Breakfast was fine...I opted for a continental breakfast but most people had full English and all gave good reports.

Other plus features were the free newspapers and Wi-Fi in the public areas and in bedrooms

booked hotel as we were on a 4 day sights and theatre break to london . hotel has ideal location for walking in to westminster bridge 10 minutes to start our sight seeing . tubes are great and nearby 5 minute walk
we had dinner one night during our stay and it was very good , above this class of budget hotel actually
Rooms were clean and functional although a bit small they were more than adequate for a weekend break and price range
i would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for a weekend break and we would certainly use the Days Inn for future short breaks to london . thank you to all the staff who were very receptive and helpful to us

My Husband and I stayed at the Days Inn Waterloo at the end of October. Upon arriving from the airport it is best to take the Underground to the Waterloo Exit. You will have no idea where you are however it's a 4-5 pound taxi ride and well worth it after a long plane ride. You will find the hotel staff friendly, the rooms clean and the showers decently size(in comparison to most). My husband and I weren't sure we chose the Hotel with the best location but to be honest I think it was great! The underground system is so easy and quick almost all of London is 10-15 minutes away. We LOVED the resturant across the way, it was the best food we had in London! I can honestly say that if you're planning on spending quite a bit of time actually seeing the city, this is the hotel for you!

My wife and I stayed in this hotel for a short stay theatre break (01/03 - 03/03 2013.) The location of the hotel is superb with just a short 20 minute walk to the london eye, westminster, sea life centre and the local tubes are extrodinary. (westminster - madame tusaudes 9 minutes) easy bus access and a £12 taxi to the west end. The hotel itself is clean and staff are extremely friendly even with the language barrier. wedid not eat but drinks at the small bar area where very competitive (£2.75 a pint during happy hour.) the rooms were small but clean and bathroom was adequate but could do with a small revamp. The breakfast area is where the problems begin, there is a small breakfast room with only 8 tables for a hotel with over 200 rooms is not quite good enough, on the sunday my wife and i had to take trays of food to the bar area to eat. the breakfast buffet table is situated right beside the kitchen door and there is no more than 18" between the buffet and the wall, making it very difficult to get your food. the toasted was slow and the dials taped down to prevent adjustment. Overall the hotel was the old stereotype " you get what you pay for."
