Despite much confusion and difficulty making the reservation, which was eventually satisfied, the hotel service was very good. Well located about a five minute walk from the Baker Street tube.
As usual when I visit London from the U.S., I arrive very late, abut 11:30pm. The desk staff was cordial and efficient. They surprised me saying that my room rate entitled me to my choice of a bottle of red or white wine. I had no idea, so it was a pleasant surprise. The room was rather small, but clean. The bathroom was modern although it showed some signs of wear and tear. Breakfast was mediocre; cold pastries and cold cuts. Overall a decent place I would stay at again.
