Hi we have just returned from a 3nt stay at this hotel, hotel is very clean and modern our room was small but adequate for the time we spent in it, nice bathroom with shower, breakfast was very good with a good variety of food, did'nt eat in the restaurant, location very good could get to central london very quickly on the tube, there is a bus service which operates after midnight which drops you 2mins from hotel which was great if we wanted to stay out late, plenty of retaurants/bars nearby if you wanted to stay local, would definitely stay at this hotel again could not fault it, booked it through Travelrepublic and got a very good rate

Really cannot fault this Hotel for location. Short walk to Gloucester Rd subway, Kensington Gardens, Supermarket, luggage store, Sainsburys, & many restaurants, casual dining & Pubs.
Contact with all reception staff pleasurable, professional & helpful. Really couldn't fault breakfast (incl') & this area & all of Hotel spotless. Furniture & décor in lobby particularly classy, hallways & rooms definitely adequate. My husband had left his reading glasses in a HOHO bus in Cardiff & the reception obligingly phoned them & arranged for them to be forwarded to Hotel & we collected them on our 2nd stay almost 2 weeks later. Thankyou to all Reception staff for a very pleasant stay.

Room Tip: On our 1st stay we had a room facing main road but with windows closed there was little noise. On our...

The Park International hotel is excellent. We stayed in a heritage room here over the weekend and really cannot fault the hotel at all. The hotel is extremely clean, tastefully decorated and well equipped. The staff are really brilliant and go out of their way to help. The breakfast at the hotel was really great - set us up well for our day ahead. The hotel is very well located - with so many attractions within walking distance.

Room Tip: Heritage rooms are wonderful!

I last stayed and reviewed this hotel last summer. My wife, son and I recently returned from another 3 night stay at the hotel. Unsurprisingly, not a lot has changed since our last stay and we still like this hotel for its convenient location and affordable price. Service levels were mostly very good and we didn't experience any problems with the concierge this time. The rooms were spotless and the friendly staff on the reservation line made sure we got the room we wanted.

In terms of criticisms/ niggles, I'd point out the following:

Breakfast service is still slow (as it was last year) and the serving staff seem to get rapidly overwhelmed even without the breakfast room being full. This includes not clearing away used plates and not attending to newly arrived guests quickly enough. As a result, I had to chase down a waitress to get some service and had to shift our used plates onto an adjoining, unused table. No big deal, but not what you expect from a 5* hotel. We also experienced this issue last year and think it deserves some management attention.

As mentioned in other reviews, the quality of the breakfast items was a little below par. These include tinned peaches (very 1970s), very milky scrambled egg and cheap "findus" frozen stir fried vegetables. Not a major issue, but perceptions are important and management should be wary of giving the impression that they are scrimping on the breakfast to save costs.

Read my last review for a more in-depth summary of this hotel's many fine points. All in all, it's a good hotel and we would return again.

I have stayed at over 20 different hotels around South Kensington and Gloucester Road. This hotel is by far the best in terms of value for money, cleanliness and great staff. I stay for business during the week as I work nearby but it is also a great location for a holiday. The museums are close by and access to the West end is easy with Gloucester Road tube station a short walk away. There is a nice bar and the food (mainly Thai) is good too. You really can't do better in this area. Well done to Alex, Karl and the rest of the front of house staff.

Room Tip: Rooms facing away from Gloucester Road are quieter

Stayed here for 7 nights in April 2012. Very clean, free breakfast every morning with a decent selection of food items and friendly staff. You can walk from the hotel to Kensington Palace, the Victoria and Albert museum and the park. Two blocks away from the Gloucester Road tube station with access to the Picadilly, Circle and District lines which is everything you need to get around. There is a great indian restaurant across the street which I highly reccomend. Such fresh food! If you're going to be sightseeing this is the place for you. While the room is small, it does not matter if you'll be out sightseeing anyway. Would definitely stay there again! :)

Room Tip: Ask to stay in the back as the main streets get a bit noisy at night with cars passing by.
