“Pretty decent”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2012 via mobile

This is a pretty decent hotel, a couple of blocks away from the Gloucester Road tube station. The rooms are quite nice, with good beds and amazing showers. The hotel layout is slightly mazelike, but nothing you won't learn to navigate after a try or two. Breakfast is definitely not impressive, but it's all right. They charge for in-room internet access, though, which I find all kinds of irritating. Oh well—it was an overall good experience, regardless.

Dear Madam

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with the feedback of your recent stay at the park international Hotel, I am delighted to read that you found your room to be of a high standard and that you had a comfortable stay with us.

It is true that the property is comprised of a number of interconnecting buildings which we feel adds to the character of the hotel and as you had mentioned easy to navigate. I am sorry to read that were unhappy with the in-room tariffs for the internet however we do offer a complimentary Wi-Fi service in the lobby area.

We do look forward to welcoming you back to the Park International Hotel soon.

Best Regards

My mother and I stayed at the Park International Hotel for 6 nights this September and had a wonderful stay. We were impressed with the high standard of cleanliness and customer service. Our twin room, was small but more than adequate space-wise for our needs. The room had a desk & chair, small table & chair, a large closet and 2 twin beds with end tables. The en suite bathroom had a large (for the UK/Europe) shower stall with great water pressure. The hair dryer was a surprise find as it was under the desk. Our room was very quiet and on the back side of the hotel.

The breakfast room was very large and we never had a problem getting a table. The selection was huge, empty dishes were replaced quickly and the staff was very helpful. Pots of coffee and tea are delivered by the wait staff. The Checkmate Restaurant was very pleasant as well.

The hotel is very close to both the Earl's Court and Gloucester tube stations, Kensington Park, Royal Albert Hall, 2 markets and many restaurants. I would choose this hotel on my next stay in London.

If I had to make a complaint, it would only be that the pillows are too fat, but that seems more of a personal issue than a real concern.

We stayed at the Park International for 3 nights, 1st - 4th October 2012. We had a lovely time. The room we had was 425, it was on the front of the hotel, but the busy road was no bother to us. Room and bathroom were exceptionally clean and had lovely decor. 'Thank you' to Karl for the allocation of our room! Although you don't spend a lot of time in your room, its always nice to have a good one. Bed linen and towels were beautifully clean, housekeeping was daily. The bar and reception area was very welcoming, we had a few drinks and food from the 'Checkers' bar. Very nice! We stayed at the Park International because of the museums that are all close by, within walking distance. My husband wanted to visit these. We also walked to Harrods, its not too far if you are mobile. We actually walked it to Covent Garden passing through Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square and the West End! We came back to the West End in the evening to watch the musical 'Ghost' which was excellent. This particular musical is finished after Saturday, which is a shame for those who haven't seen it. The tube station is a couple of minutes away if you don't fancy the walk. An all day tube ticket is £7pp. When I visit London again I will most certainly book into the Park International. Buffet breakfast is included in the price. Food was very nice and plenty of choice. Cooked very well too. You can have a morning newspaper as well. All the staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful, if you require anything just ask. If you are looking for a comfortable bed in a lovely clean hotel there is no need to look any further. Try it and see for yourself, I'm sure you will agree with us :o)

From the smiles on the faces of the staff, to the over abundant FREE breakfast, this hotel cannot be beat for value. Location is close to the Gloucester tube, Waitrose's and Sainsbury's (grocery stores just in case you are hungry after your huge breakfast). Hotel was clean, roomy and quiet. Even though we had a street room, there are double windows and you cannot hear a thing. The curtains were heavy enough to keep out street lights and morning light, I like to sleep in. There is a delicious Thai restaurant and 3 Italian restaurants across the street. A short walk are pubs and contemporary restaurants. The hotel also has a reasonably priced restaurant with very good food and a bar with reasonable drink prices. It is near the V&A, science and natural museums and Kensington Park, home of Princess Diana. At the tube you can pick up the red tour buses. Anyone looking for good value should chose this hotel.

This was my first time in London and was very unsure about where to stay as London has so many hotels. I chose Park International and was very pleased when I arrived there. I went on a girls only cruise that ended in Southampton. We decided to spend two days in London and the Park International was perfect for us. Its location is very convenient as it is close to the Glouster Underground. This also happens to be a stop for the Hop on Hop off buses. There is a super market nearby and plenty of restaurants. Its also close to Harrods, only one stop on train (Knightbridge) Hotel had good breakfast. Rooms were very clean and modern. Bathroom clean and modern. Room also spacious. Had a room on lower level ( I was told these are bigger). Staff was super friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Room Tip: Rooms on lower level are bigger although no view from windows. Still has plenty of light.

Spent one night here when spending girly weekend celebrating a friend's birthday. Good location near to Gloucester Road tube station and museums such as V&A. My friend had booked and paid for 3 rooms requesting twin beds. The room we were sharing did not have twin beds when we were shown it so we asked to be moved. We were then shown a room in the back of the ground floor which was very small, dark and smelled strongly of disinfectant. We told the front desk that we would revert to the original room and the girl on the front desk did not hide her expression that suggested that we were irritating and unreasonable. While we were out at dinner the hotel separated the double bed into twins so all was fine in the end. The room was a good size and clean. The bathroom did not have a bath which was fine with me but others may not be so happy. The beds were firm but comfortable which is important to me as I have problems with pain in my hips and back. We were at the front of the hotel and were really impressed at the double glazing as there was really very little noise from what is a very busy road. Breakfast was very busy and we did feel that the staff found it difficult to cope in terms of clearing tables and providing tea and coffee - we had to ask both initially and for refills especially as we were only given one pot of tea between six of us! We had a drink in the bar before we went out to dinner. The bar is relatively modern and seemed to have a good selection available.

Room Tip: Rooms on the ground floor seem dark and cramped. Don't worry about rooms at the front of the ho...

Am staying in the hotel right now. Impressed with the friendly and helpful staff. The room we are in is in the below ground level, but there is natural light coming in, and the option for fresh air which opens up the room completely.
The bathroom is brand new, and the room while basic is clean and comfortable.
Breakfast is included also, which is a plus of course.
Only small gripe is that internet is not included with the room rate, but the front desk staff were very helpful with recommending a package that would be the most economical for the number of devices we are using and the number of days we are staying.
We were also informed bt each front desk person we spoke with that internet is free in the lobby, which was appreciated.
Lovely hotel, fantastic central location, and will definitely stay again.
