We stayed 2 nights at the hotel.....i love love the location! Curzon street a lovely looking street 5mins walk away from green park tube station. Theres a cafe nero and tesco express over the road and a couple of decent restaurants and pubs around the corner, including the quaint little shepards market over the road

Room was really nice, good decor and decent size and views......nice one

2tiny niggles:
Cost of 2 glasses of champagne in the completely empty ( i wonder why...) bar was a staggering £24... Rip off!

Lobby looks a wee bit tired......

Summary: awesome location in a lovely street, great room....shame about the 2 tiny issues....not a prob and defo will be back!

If you're looking for location, this hotel is great! If you want to stay in a fancy hotel in a fancy part of town, you're better off booking at the Flemings or the Green Park.

This hotel was nice back in the day...about 15 years ago. It's somewhat rundown and in need of a loving. The lobby has "leather" couches that look like sleeper sofas straight out of Ikea. The bedrooms are big by London standards, but nothing to write home about.

The bar definitely needs help. Service was terrible and the table cloths were all dirty.

My mom had stayed here before and talked about how lovely it was. She was very disappointed with the changes that had occurred over the years. Definitely not what it used to be.

I live out of town but work in Mayfair. I had a formal dinner to attend and this hotel Iwas convenient for dinner and work. Either I was lucky or the reviewers who have given the hotel reviews are fussy. The room was pleasant and neither too hot or cold. The TV worked and the Internet access unfussy and very fast. Breakfast was very good although why can hotels never do scrambled egg properly ! The staff were very efficient and pleasant.

I have stayed here a number of times and to be honest its certainly not worth the price.
The rooms are nice enough but have a heating system thats either much too hot or freezing cold. The TV has a very limited number of channels and doesn't work properly. Breakfast is very average and the staff's customer service training is not what you would expect from a 4 star hotel in Mayfair.
Overall its grossly overpriced (due to its location) and isn't the experience you'd expect from a hotel in Mayfair. There are plenty of other options in the area, do your research and choose somewhere else.

Room Tip: Try the Millenium Hotel on Grovenor Square

Arrived at hotel meted at reception very fast check in & was giving room 105 on the first floor, not to bad a room however noisy from outside traffic & people walking past. Nice clean room & bathroom has a mini bar with expected minibar prices. Tv in room however only 2 channels working so that was a downside should you just want to chill in room. Good location, had breakfast in room cost 20.00 full English or 16.00 continental, very good portions, overall I would give this hotel room 7/10

I have had the misfortune in staying at this hotel on a couple of occasions in the last few months on business trips (I mistakenly believed that it would improve following assurances by the management). From the initial entry to the hotel, where you are met by the most incompetent and rude concierge staff, the experience is infuriating.
Bear in mind that you are paying 4 star London hotel prices and receiving less than B&B service.
The following are examples of the poor service provided in the hotel:
The tv channels are limited to 2 english speaking channels, that have poor reception and turn off every 5 minutes.
The breakfast at £20 comprises of cold tea or coffee and powdered scrambled eggs.
The gym has equipment that is poorly maintained or dangerous-i.e. running machine that stops unexpectedly.
Heating that is either 'sauna' hot, freezing cold, but always noisy.
Lifts with panels missing and clunk.
The worst example I can give is that the drinking glass cardboard cover was reused by the cleaning staff for 4 days-on the final day having been taken out of the bin!
It got to the point, where I gave up speaking to the hotel management as nothing was rectified.
This was probably a beautiful hotel, ruined by the current owners.

Room Tip: Try the Chesterfield hotel around the corner.
