Stayed to visit London & go to a Stones gig:
+
-Good location: quiet neighbourhood, shops and foods close, 3 min walk to tubestation, 12 min tube to picadilly
- Friendly staff.

-
-Rooms are small
-Breakfast isn't much...

OVERALL: Good hotel, maybe a little pricey for what you get (even near London).

We booked this B&B because we were looking for budget accommodation in London, but we were a little concerned about the location. When we arrived at Anchor House we realised that the location was actually very convenient. The B&B is very close to GOLDERS GREEN bus and tube station, served by coaches from and to Stansted Airport and by the Northern Line (3 stops to Chalk Farm and 4 stops toCamden Town). It is very easy to reach the main attractions of London from there!
The rooms we got were clean and comfortable and bathrooms brand-new!
Continental breakfast was very good and offered a wide selection of cakes, fresh fruit and eggs. It is a pity they do not serve English Breakfast!
The wi-fi worked perfectly.

Stayed for two nights in wee single room in November.

Never been in such a minute room but to be fair it was totally fine. Came complete with hair dryer, fridge, iron and ironing board.

Tiny table to work at and folding chair. All totally functional.

Bathroom likewise and utterly spotless.

Reception staff very friendly.

Free car parking and post stay parking at £7 a day which is a godsend this close to town.

Hotel is quiet but less than a minutes walk to Golders Green tube & bus station.

Lots of diverse restaurants withing very easy walking distance plus a medium sized Sainsburys.

Fair value rooms as well.

We stayed in the shed in the back garden, really cheap, clean and ten minutes from the centre...can't complain really for the price. Breakfast wasn't the best

I should really keep this finds to myself. What a cracking little place this is. If you want clean rooms (not large but suitable), friendly staff, free parking and close to a tube station on the Northern Line. Then this is the one. We were allowed to check it at 10.00 and was given a key so we could return later. The rooms were modern and clean. My daughter was in number 14 which is a converted garage outside but again was clean and modern. Free internet, free parking. Breakfast was filling and the staff were really friendly. Nice place will return.

Room Tip: Number 14 is down the garden. It is fine but you have to go outside, not everyones ideal.

Had a concert to attend in the evening in Camden so decided to stay over - the Anchor House Hotel was about 10 minutes by tube and two minutes away from Golders Green tube station. We were given a very nice clean room everything we wanted and for a reasonable price. This hotel is extremely convenient for location and the breakfast was great, plus a mention for the friendly staff. We were absolutely happy with our choice

Room Tip: Overlooking the garden
