PROS:
- Location Location Location... Right next to London Bridge tube
- FREE gym membership to a real gym
- Decent breakfast available
- Rooms were more like a 5 star hotel, ultra modern
- Friendly staff.
- 1 block from Thames River and excellent mid-priced resturants
- 1 block from farmers market.
- Plasma TV
- Air Conditioning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CONS:
- Way over priced Internet access. 10 pounds a day for wireless or 6 pounds 1/2 hour on hotel computers. Ouch! Best to go to an internet cafes in the area for 1 pound 1/2 hour.
- Small rooms, but this is not the USA so understandable.
- Clock is on plasma tv, but cannot be seen from bed.

OVERALL:
Although this hotel is not close SOHO, Picadilly, Buckingham Place, it is only a 10 min tube ride to these areas. Also you are slightly away from the hords of tourist that flock to these areas. There is a lot to explore on the south side of the river. The resturants the run the course of the river on the south side are excellent. Hotel is close to the Globe Theater and there a lot of interesting shops and resturants / pubs around the Globe Theater. The WWII musemum is below the train station as well as the London Bridge Dungon which is very interesting. I would definitly stay at this hotel again. You can get better rates at otel or hotelsrus. I paid ~71 Pounds a night. It was a great deal.

This is quite simply a hotel that understands the value of customer care and obviously puts in time and effort on staff training. The results are demonstrated in the reviews - this is probably one of the most favourably reviewed British hotels on this site.

I stay in London a lot - both pleasure and work - and this is the best I have come across in terms of value, service and overall ambience.

The location on the south of the river is an added plus - Southwark and that bit of the Embankment is a real gem in London. And the fact that Thameslink and London Bridge Underground is adjacent to the hotel means that anyone coming from the South Coast or North of Watford can access this hotel more easily than those situated in Bayswater or Gloucester Road.

This was our second stay here and I wouldn't stay anywhere else in London.

The rooms have all been refurbished since last year, and they look great. The breakfast has also improved slightly (although there wan't much wrong with it before), although bigger glasses for juice would be welcome!

Only a few seconds from the underground, Borough Market and the footpath along the Thames. Only 10 mins on the tube to Bond Street.

Plenty of places to eat nearby and small grocery shops/newsagents if you want to avoid using the minibar.

Why stay anywhere else?

Me, my fiance, sister and brother-in-law have just returned from a weekend stay at the London Bridge Hotel. The booking was made by telephone direct to the hotel for 2 standard double rooms and at £99 per room per night (which included a full english breakfast) we thought this was very reasonable for London prices. When checking in we were lucky enough to be upgraded from a standard double to a executive king room. The room was wonderful, a modern contemporary style, which was comfortable and relaxing with a king size bed, plasma TV and a beautiful big bathroom with a heated floor and mirror.

The breafast was great, really set us up for the day. We never tried the resturant so couldn't comment on ths.

The location was excellent just a hop skip and jump away from The London Bridge underground station and a few hundred yards away is the Thames, Tate Modern and of course London Bridge.

This hotel is a must. My fiance and I enjoyed it so much we have booked up again and incorporated it into our Honeymoon.

I had a weekend break in London recently and stayed at the London Bridge Hotel for the first time. The hotel was wonderful - the staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were beautifully maintained, the food was smashing and the location was perfect for exploring London. Highly recommended.
