“Handy, friendly & great food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 26, 2013

Arrived by train, station 2min walk, check-in was painless, given all information needed inc free Wi-Fi password. 2nd floor twin room at back, big enough, free safe & Tea/coffee. Mini bar available. Ate in restaurant , bit expensive but very nice.
Breakfast was included, cereals, toast, hot food and pastries aplenty.
Ate in Quarter bar next night, more reasonably priced & again food was excellent.
Staff all very friendly, room made up all 3 days, no problems encountered.
Walking distance to Tower Bridge but Tube there to reach further afield.Would stay again, if got reasonable price!

Room Tip: rooms at the back can't hear the trains, although I can't say if they are annoying elsewhere...

We stayed in a twin room on Saturday night for £99 plus £10 each for breakfast bookable on the hotel website. The hotel is located next to London Bridge station at the foot of The Shard. The staff were very polite and helpful especially Phillipe the Concierge. The room was quiet, modern, well appointed and spotlessly clean - if the bed was a little soft but this would suit some. Parking around the corner for £25 a day. Afternoon tea with Champagne was a bargain for London at £18!!! A little gem (and boy am I fussy!) We will definitely be back.

Room Tip: Twin rooms are slightly larger so push the beds together.

Extremely close to the shard and borough market, nice walk to tower bridge. Clean, modern hotel with friendly and helpful staff. We were upgraded free to a superior and room size was fine. Better than many hotels I've stayed in in London. Breakfast was varied and enjoyable. Would book again if price was right. You are right near the station and you could hear trains/tube going but we were so tired it didn't bother us.

Had walked past a few times as we headed to Borough Market - always impressed from the outside. Needed a hotel relatively close to the Old Vic, so decided to stay here. SO GLAD WE DID! Lovely welcoming reception area - very nice bedroom with immaculate quite spacious bathroom, great afternoon tea (and great cocktails) in the Quarter bar, and very tasty breakfast in Londinium restaurant. Very nice and welcoming staff throughout the hotel. Loved our stay. And its in such a convenient buzzing area.

Great location , very good service in the heart of London. Business type hotel . walking distance from most central locations in london , taxi rank at the door. I would be happy to stay in the hotel on my next visit to London.

The London Bridge Hotel is in a great location very handy to get to anywhere around central London. The room was gorgeous - very spacious, modern and spotlessly clean and yet still felt homely. All of the staff at the hotel were polite and friendly and concierge were very helpful and knowledgeable of the local areas and attractions. The breakfast served in Londinium Restaurant was superb and made a great start to the day! All in all I couldn't fault this hotel at all and would certainly visit again!

The location is truly excellent. There is a railway station and tube station within a stones throw away. The room size leaves a lot to be desired-very small. I know this is london and I should not be surprised but I feel that people should know before they are paying for location. The service was very good. I asked for a quiet room prior to arriving as I was travelling with an extremely fussy mother. They gave me the noisiest room in the entire hotel (Facing the train station!!). However they did change our room for the next two nights so I commend their service for rectifying the situation. Overall a good stay when we got the room issue sorted would recommend for location alone.
